Have to vent and this is coffee and lack of sleep rant.
The business owner that my son works for has just been obnoxious! There are several state agencies that have been talking to our son and the other man that where injured in the explosion and have hinted that criminal charges are most likely forthcoming against the owner, main for not having the license and safety devices/protocol need for the operation that there where doing. The owner and his wife have been up trying to find out what has been said under the rouse of being worried about the boys. The hospital security have escorted them off the property 3 time. The last time the owner passed himself off as my son's father so he could get into the ICU waiting room. Our daughter overheard him on his phone saying that it was a burner phone and some other stuff on his business. If you are going to operate a business that is hazardous make sure you have the safety stuff in place so things like this don't happen.

Well, he sounds like he is at least no good. Very likely he was operating criminally. Sounds like your son is going to have to sue this jack-butt, especially if he is charged criminally. He will likely burn down his business in the process and most/all of the employees will be left high and dry.
My advice, for what it's worth is to lawyer up immediately. Make calls tonight. That attorney may be able to have a judge freeze assets and stop the crook from running with all the money. Your son will need to pay for the care that will come after these first couple of months. I know about these burn casualties, as we have many in the military, ground forces...
