So a month or so ago I saw a pic of the new chevy and thought it looked a little like the Toyota Tundra. Well, I saw one in person today, a 1500. I really thought it was a Tundra until I saw chevy across the back. I mean mirror image hense the grill a little. Then the price tag, 56k msrp No wonder GM is laying off thousands.

Maybe I am missing it, but I just see a dual caliper. You say the line is T'd to each piston? Don't see that as an issue, does it have the standard emergency brake? A 7 inch lift? Now you need 37s! I sure liked my Contito NTBD lift, just sold it. Another fluid change, and paint it green

Those could be grinding marks, but I'm no expert.

Since you had it out and pulled the converter. Looked like it wasn't leaking should be OK.

Guess I shouldn't ask, did you replace the seals?
Dana 80, seen those on some 80s cummins.

I don't see an issue either, but seeing the rust in there made me think a little.
I have seen rebuilds where they rub anti-seize on the surface.
Must say it looks good though.

Weird, leaving a drain line not attached, good thing you found it.

Across the street is nice, maybe the other as a backup for a rainy day,,,,,,,,,,,,
With all the 6L80Es being run out there, you would figure a cheaper controller would be available for it.

The 1991 had a stand alone PCM for the trans, only year. Mine works great in the 85 burb, not sure of the PCM though. What PCM you looking at?

Not sure about a snorkel, does that green thing run??
Looking at pulling air from the inlet area below the window. Could always add to that.
The KnN 38-2006S looks interesting, but need the R version in that size.

I don't want to pull the air from the fender, but guess I could block that side off and run a tube to where I want.

Those are close, but I need a side outlet, center in. I think the first one is for a lawn tractor.
I did some searching too, need something I can lay flat, change filter from the top.

You would prefer a 700r to a T400 on something with that much torque?
Thinking 4L80
Good choice

Need them on the front, rear is OK but they don't get same road debris or abuse as the front does.

I need ideas too on the air cleaner. I posted a couple ideas in post 42. The 90s GM filter will work, but I want a round canister if I can find one that doesn't break the bank.

Going to get the front end weighed so I can order my springs and get this thing going. Yep, going to stay with springs and Deavers. Found a vid using the sliders, think they will be just fine and keep me lower. https://youtu.be/yoYrt9dO1ow

Got covers for the battery terminals. It also starts easy all the time now so the effort was really worth it.
Got my 2nd set of spacers in, billet so they are stronger than most wheels. 2.5in with 14mm studs onto the 9/16 stock studs giving me a 4.5bs. This allows running the H1 wheels on the stock axles and can put on stock wheels if need be anytime. Thinking of running a steel outer shim so the H1 wheel bolts up to it flat and not into the machined surface with BIG holes.
If the rain quits this week I am going to put the front lift springs on to level this thing out. It has a 4 inch block in back and I can replace that with a 2in I have or just throw the new springs out back. I need the lift for the 37 tires.

Wheels look good, just a little small for my taste.
Garage door opener on the fitz. Had a power outage, then a surge and it works when it wants to now. LM 8500. Have a new control panel on order. They are sending out new ones like warranty/over 5 years old!

Funny, the guy I got my axle from was touting that guy big time. Even wanted me to go up to the shop but I didn't have time.
He had nothing but good to say about the guy, but was up front he was pricey.

Good looking rims. I can never get the offset right, plus = Neg???
Ordered spacers for the Burb to run the H1 wheels. Have two 2.5" already so that gives me a 4.5 BS.
