5th century traditions colliding with the industrial revolution. I remember reading about the industrial revolution here in New England and one of the biggest challenge mill owners here had was getting workers to show up on time. Previously in an agricultural society time was less of an issue and it was more about the weather and doing things when the weather allowed. But with all the money invested in a mill the owners (obviously) had to get the equipment running. So it took a long time for people to get used to being some place at a specific time.
I saw a quote about Islam by George Patton yesterday that rung true....the quote touched on a few things but there seem to be parallels here:
"It seems to me a certainty that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of the Arab women are the outstanding causes for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly as he was around the year 700, while we have been developing"-
Good for Ariens for saying no and firing them. No surprise that CAIR is trying to insert their BS into the equation. They are the Jesse Jackson of Islam....well actually worse...I have not heard of Jesse Jackson giving money to people that want to kill Americans. Sheesh
