Save them in an old tin and use in the warmer months as fertilizer for your roses

Coffee grounds, vegetable scraps (banana peels are great) and egg shells, throw em all in a blender, pour into garden. Nutrient packed fertilizer.

Essentially it is liquid compost. Have been doing this with great benefit I believe.

Another on this for the garden, if you are going to blend scraps, blend your plant trimmings too. They have spent a significant amount of energy and nutrients making what we just trimmed off, why not put it back in the ground for them to use again.

Grandma raised nightcrawlers in coffee grounds for years. We ate quite a few catfish because of it!
