Gangland

A CIEMR by Don Harward

So do we really have a functioning two party system in government?

I say it depends on when you ask the question. If we are in some election cycle, then a particular candidate will stand with their party, but that is only to get the votes and more importantly to them, get the money and be careful to appease their “Handlers.”

But if we move along to a time after the election then they typically become gang members. We elect them to represent us, then we send them to the south side and they join a gang. You see, no matter what topic they campaign on in the micro, when they get to gangland they are recruited into their respective gangs and they are simply there to do as the gang leader directs them to do. Anything they promised is washed away and they become part of the caustic system.

So here in the Tuck, we have Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader as one of our senators, and he is up for election. He is obviously republican. Running against him is Amy McGraff, a former Marine F-18 pilot and combat veteran, who, oddly enough is a democrat. Now she talks a good line…Fresh blood, comes from the warrior crowd and wants to fix a bunch of things that are broken in Kentucky. Sounds good, I suppose.

But it is all bull crap. First, what Marine would ever be part of a socialist movement? And how can you be a Democrat with leaders like the communist from New York, Ocasio Cortez? Are you kidding? That’s about as likely as getting a Marine to say good things about the Armee or the Air Force, just isn’t going to happen. But more to the point, Mrs McGraff campaigns on things like fixing the I-71 Bridge, that was erected in the late Triassic period, which in turn, gets everyone buzzing, but will she? The answer is probably not, and most likely the gang boss in Washington Schumer will push her into her corner and tell her when she can speak.

So the person we elect to fix our bridge actually ends up voting for another twelve Supreme Court justices recruited from Berkley University and falls in line to impeach Mr. Trump a fourth time. The people we send to Washington are either AC or DC. They are positive or negative, on or off, right or left, and nothing else. The left is trying to get us into the Bolshevik revolution, part two and the right is trying to preserve something from the past. The pull to the left is strong. Strong enough to draw a bunch of yellow spine, lily-livered, mustard seed, Kool-Aid pumping heart RINOs like a Romney or this so-called republican senator from Maine or the one from Alaska.

Those good people from those states voted for someone they thought would hold the line but they were seduced by all the smooth talk and hollow promises. Their choice was always going to be recruited into someone else’s gang the moment they arrived in gangland.

So you have recourse, right? You can just wait two or four more years to vote another social warrior into office, yea that will fix the problem. But wait, what happens during the intervening two to four years? The answer is A LOT! Like a few more states like Washington DC, and Puerto-Rico, maybe the Marshall islands and perhaps even Disneyland. The supreme court becomes a body resembling the UN and your inalienable right to own a weapon gets properly defined to mean, owning a sling shot, a B-B gun, and a straw (If you’re from the communist district of the Kalifornia).

Point is, you just get screwed again, and played for the fool. So what could we do? Well for the cardigan sweater wearing, polyester skinny jeans people we have now, just take a knee again or bend over. For the few who have a spine and a constitution, we raise holy hell every time the person we elected strays one millionth of the thickness of a frog hair off the course they campaigned on. I mean we make life downright tough for them for not standing fast on what they told us they could do. We find their donors, and if they own companies, we refuse to buy from them. Hollywood? That’s easy, never go see nor rent their rubbish and let them see those dollars evaporate.

But you won’t. I was in two different homes this past weekend, and both of them were viewing NFL games. I stood with my back to the screen. At one location I recognized a former marine watching and called him out. HE gave me some limp excuse and I told him right there, “You served on a battlefield, how many blood soaked US Flags will it take for you to turn away from those who disrespect it? Yea, I’m not good with that. No half way compromise there for me. I saw a blood soaked flag in the back of my helicopter, and that was enough.

To hell with gangs. Can the people’s will and common sense just prevail for once without the need for extreme measures? Can we just enforce the laws we have? Can men and women in position of authority just do the job that’s in their job description?
We have a friggin brilliantly conceived government. A smaller central government which provides for the common defense, commerce, and the constitutional framework presiding over a confederation of states. These states being in control of their territories stemming from the constitutional law but making their own decisions about things.

Can men and women of substance actually stand up for what they campaigned for? Mrs McGraff may well be a good senator, but the plain fact of the matter is she will simply become a gang member and do whatever that career idiot, Schumer tells her to do. Who does he take his orders from exactly, the devil? I’d guess so, the man’s Mr. Gumby and a liar’s liar.

But the Mitch McConnell who has never had a job save for the US Senate is our only hope, He seems to hold the line and protect conservative/realistic values. Yea, he is part of a gang, but it’s more like the US Army being a gang, standing the line in Afghanistan. Over there you are either us or them. He has to hold and stand or he will simply become a battlefield casualty.

I’m frustrated. I just don’t see the integrity needed to preserve the republic. But I’m a fool. I actually believe that fighting to preserve it is worth the cost. I often fall back on my eventual remedy. I will not live forever as a human being. My years here on earth are much fewer than those much younger who foolishly choose to accept little sips from the devil’s soup. I guess I get to pass on into glory while the nation develops stage four cancer and withers. I think I’ll cling to the good times when we were strong and proud, and walked despots back from our shores and set things right all over the world. You all want to submit, well do it without me!

God Bless America!

Don you hit it on the head. People too lazy and not committed.

My own father was watching football and I called him out. You really want to watch a sport where they wouldn’t allow a team to wear the names of five murdered officers on their helmet but a team can wear the name of a thug who raped a 14 year old girl?

No thanks. Same for NBA, MLB and NASCAR. Go Woke, Go Broke

You're right, Don. We're in a catch-22. This problem won't get fixed until we have Senate and Congressional term limits. But that won't happen, because the Senate/Congress would never pass such a bill. The only fix to that would be a Constitutional Convention, but the Governors would never get to the appropriate majority, because they're funded by the same guy(s) as the Senator/Congressman.

I get tired of writing these things. Seems like someone or something sticks it all in my head just before waking up. I pen it all out then I wonder, for what? I mean other than the few that read these things, who are all of the same mind anyway, what good is all of this doing?

Seriously I have been contemplating just going quiet and live out my days and let the world do what it may.

Sadly it seems the youth are of no mind to listen, and seem too uninformed to make a quality decision. And on top of that, I seem like some noisy old guy much like the other noisy old men. We care, but all our best efforts are bulldozed by stupid youth. I should say to hell with it all and just do my thing.

But if just one of them turns around after reading, it is all worth it. Don’t quit now we just can’t quit.

Don, it does good because even though most of us here feel the same way. Seeing it in print and the constant reminders show we are not alone in this.

Just to add even here in komifornia I get waves and honks all the time with my Trump sticker on my truck. More than I ever thought and even comments in parking lots.

We are not alone in this.

Don,

Don't stop if you have something to say. We all seem to be like minded like JR mentioned but it highlights what is going on. The main thing right now is getting Trump reelected. Then they will continue to go after child trafficking, pedo's, the swamp, school choice and getting rid of the socialist teachings in K-12 like the 1619 BS, de fund colleges that suppress free speech and are "systemically racist", etc. etc... etc...

It will be a landslide like no other and even there ballot stuffing and harvesting will have no effect because Trump voters will vote in person and en mass like never seen before.

The Demoncrats will try to Kavenaugh Amy Cony Barrett and it will further repulse the moderates and independents. They will see again the disgusting ends that the likes of Horizontal Harris and others will go and reject them. Who wants her as our President after Slo Joe is in office for a couple of months and bows out due to health reasons. She is Obama's pick that failed miserably in the primaries. This is the only way Obama's cabal can get her in there.

And take majority of the House of Representatives.

Vote RED up and down.  :likebutton:
