You make me look like I'm sleeping. Wish I lived on site!
Agreed, 140+ days gone off site last year. It’s much easier when you live here. Although the wife is taking up valuable time now…..

OK, Matt, you're first. We were praying for your son to get a job and that has happened Praise to the Lord! Something else?

It's funny, and I'm sure it is just me and the way I think from being a lifelong soldier, but when I read your response, Sean, this immediately came to mind:
Psalm 144:1
Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

So far as I know, we are still praying for JW in Colorado who suffers from a long difficult trial with his wife having cancer, him losing his job and so forth. He is at a low point with respect to his faith so we ask God to touch him with his love to restore him to a cheerful relationship with the King of the Universe.
We, no doubt have others who are in need of prayer
The holy spirit is tugging at me right this second. He is telling me we have one of our own here on this forum who needs prayer for a drinking problem. So, we need to lift this man up.
Any others needing prayer, or are requesting prayer for other situations that they are aware of, well, this may well be the very reason this site came into being. Post that here and we will lift them up.
Then if you don't mind let us know when that prayer is answered so we can thank God and get that good feelin' inside that we all get when we see the master doing his work.
God loves you!

The last prayer request thread got to be quite long, some 77 pages and spanning 8 years! Many of those situations have resolved with answered prayer.
So I decided to refresh the prayer thread and make it more current. I think that from time to time I will do this and in the future will try to close out various prayer requests as those situations resolve.
Phillipians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Thanks for that, will continue to lift him up
Prayers are also requested for the people of Houston over to western Louisiana who are being flooded out right now. I believe our own Texas redneck is at ground zero in all that.
