Found out Friday that Damien my stepson will have another skin graft surgery this coming Wednesday. Only about 50% of the last skin graft took. Kind of in a circle he is depressed about having another skin graft so he isn't eating so he isn't getting the protein that he needs to eat to get the grafts to heal.

Mind if I ask what his occupation is/was?

6th skin graft surgery done. The areas are getting smaller . The doctor said it looked good. I feel the main issue now is that he is depressed so he isn't eating like he needs to along with that he is smoking more so that reduces the blood flow

Thank youbfor the prayers

They removed the staples this morning and sent him home. Now to get the protein in and cut out the nicotine. Both will be hard

Here is the latest update on Lamar from his wife.

Hi Matt. Lamar is too weak for me to safely try to get him to treatment anymore, so I called hospice on friday. They brought a hospital bed and oxygen the same day and will provide everything else I need to take care of him. He still sleeps a lot and can't speak but if you'd like to say anything to him, I can give you a call sometime when he's awake.

The doctor at this time feels that the skin graft may grow in so he is waiting another week before making a decision on if Damien will need another skin graft

Please lift my brother Nick up. Been a long week for him, just had to get shocked in hopes to balance his heart rate. Been inpatient since Thursday, thought he was going home tomorrow, then tonight heart went crazy.

Thanks gents.

Man, do I know something about that!

Had A-Bib and Atrial FLutter for over a decade. Finally had the ablation which fixed me. I can personally testify, that what he is going through is a nightmare for him...

So sad, thoughts and prayers sent. One of my friends children  took his life a month ago, people just don’t realize how much pain they put on family and friends. Our Lord is always there for us but it is so hard to deal with.
