So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are.  Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!

Pretty much this.  I just throw whatever I need in the closest back pack and head out.   If I'm working up a load or Doing something other than plinking I'm a little more organized but not much.

I have 2 of these bags that came with drills. One's loaded up with shotgun shells, plugs, and lube. The other is a range bag with tools, lube, shells, etc. They have little pockets on the inside for drill bits or whatever.

These work really well, had a carhart camo one I used for years, now its pulling winch accessory duty in back of JK. I used an assault backpack I had laying around last Friday but like the tool bag mo better. I really like them for multiple uses, easy to strap down to things. In fact I will be adding one at least to the WR450 build......

I got a cheap one from Galls a few years that works pretty well.  Holds some eyepro, ears, ammo boxes, tools, targets, and a bunch of other stuff with room left over.
