Another big difference is the improved dual recoil spring of the Gen 4It is still riding on the same polymer shaft, but now there are two different springs. I have read that the dual combo reduces felt recoil and makes for a more positive slide racking during firing.Don't know, will have to wait, and a 9mm doesn't recoil anyway, but we'll see on paper with timed double taps if it makes any difference
I wonder if the old plastic plugs people put in there still fit?
