Trimmed and mowed the front and back yard while the wife pulled weeds and spread some field flower seeds that will bloom in the fall for along the fence

Still need to build a metal rack for fire wood to clean up the fire pit area,  a few more bushes needed replaced as other have not survived.  Otherwise need to keep transplanting ground cover from the front yard and moving towards the back yard

Front yard is coming along nice for what I have invested

Need to work on finishing up this area, it doesn’t ever see sun so I’m not 100% decided on what to plant besides the random things the wife has put in

Looking good Dave.

Pressure washed all the flagstone, cleaned out all the gutters, changed oil and trans fluid and filters on the Bus. Filled the bird feeders.

Need to wash the bus and cut a few trees and split some wood for next year.

When the wet weather creek dries up I’ll install the two 36 inch culverts and finally have heavy vehicle access to the back of the property.

Charles, twin 36 pipes? That is a large runoff ditch. Do you have plenty of depth to get proper cover over them without digging well beyond the site each direction? Or length enough on top to get the needed cover without making a large speed bump

Absolutely it ain’t gonna happen I’m my yard.  I dig a hole that deep, the hole will back fill with water.  The other end is they make great mobile shade for the grass lol

Should be plenty.  Creek is 6 ft deep and about 8 ft wide

Yep, will get installed along with a full PPE exhaust setup. Manifolds, up pipes, downpipe.

Has 250k on it, built trans a couple years ago, 4 inch exhaust already. Should let it breath a whole lot better. In the market for an ECM and TCM for spares. Want a stock ECM for for that visit to the smog shop, so PNP.

Anyone got leads on those? They want way to much around here and on Ebay.

Ha, you should see me taking the zero turn across the wooden bridge i build over it.  Rear tires hang off about an 1 on both sides.  Zero turns arent known for being easy to keep in a very straight line either.

Another score today.

Went to get a door panel for my Tahoe but scored an ECM and TCM for my Duramax. Got both for $500 hopefully they're good.

A pile of parts showed up for the tractor. Waiting for a back ordered radiator.
The new grill arrived damaged. There was no packing in the box. So I thing it's partly Deere's fault but mostly the shipping company. Getting a new one free so don't really matter to me but as much as stuff cost you would think they would package it. The frame for the radiator support was packaged better than the grill.

Left weds morning with my gooseneck trailer in tow and drove to Colorado shop. Then stayed the night and borrowed my good friend JB’s gooseneck with drive over fenders. Loaded the fummins and the lathe plus some extra items. Left at 2pm yesterday afternoon and rolled into home at just after 7am this morning. Took 1/2 hour Power Nap 2 hours from home this morning. Now I’m chilling and doing nothing rest of the day.

Hanging flags in the new building. I was going to go to the left with all the branches of the military including a Pow/Mia but this doesn't look right to me. I want to do it correctly. I wanted the American flag there because it's the center of the building and it's pretty much the first thing you see. If I put it all the way to the left it's like I'm hiding it in the corner.

Will do, need to fire it up again. It’s not getting to temp, errors out I think. I tried it before Christmas and it was too cold to mess with. Then I bought a new regular grill and haven’t touched it since.

Actually Saturday, my son and I got this up with the wife's help.  The wife and I finished it on Sunday.  10x14.  It has room for the smoker, grill and griddle as well as the table and 4 chairs.

Started the morning off rolling on a fresh coat of Thomas water seal to the cedar Adirondack chairs/foot rests & tables that my wife power washed the day prior. Picked up a smaller brush in town to apply in areas the roller wouldn’t reach. Maybe tomorrow I can finish these off.

Yup, that needs moved over to the other wood shed to left of it to fill up completely the left wood shed. Then I can stain the perimeter boards on the one you see. Probably a late July job as I have 3+ cords of larch coming in august.

Raining here today, took the time and went to dmv and made it official as a resident of the great state  of Montana. Then I immediately went to Sheriffs office to try and get my conceal carry (yes we’re constitutional carry) but the permit allows you in many state properties as well. Apparently there is a qualifier shoot to get it and I need to have DL for 6 months. Was able to get my in state fishing license though.

Tate, no River or stream fishing in Western Zone from Nov 30th thru the third Saturday in May, so winter trout is off……

I turn 65 end of the month. Biggest bonus is a fishing license is just $9 now. I like to fish but $60 for something I used a few times a year was not worth it right now.

I just requalified for my title 18 CCW, good in all 50 states.

Happened to be passing thru Ken’s neck of the woods in Idaho and got to see him at the local Home Depot in Ponderay.

Some of the following is true but some isn’t….. you decide!

Sold him a 200# Parker 5x vise

He was driving a yota, said he was done with GM crap. Did spot an I love H bumper sticker on the yota though. Hey at least it was a twin turbo yota.

He plugged up the bathrooms at Home Depot and flooded the store. Then he tried blaming a Hispanic construction worker for it.

I told H jokes until he got red faced and left.

He was very impatient and calling me names prior to arrival.

As he was leaving he sideswiped a Prius just for fun.

Living in the remote north hoping Ken doesn’t bring H up here any time soon…..
