Mike, what was the exact pill you took?

Dave/Ken, I will likely get rid of it in the next few months.  Plan to clay/polish and wax and replace the windsheild as there is a large impact damage spot and re balance the front tires.

I already have 2 peoples in line and the line will likly get longer, but going rate with all the mods seems to be $43K

If not, then that gives me an excuse to keep it.....

TRN - it’s called Osmoprep - I read the literature that came with it and it’s only drawback that I could see (aside from the legal language saying everything is bad and you’ll die) is that it can cause kidney stones especially if you’re prone to them.

Won’t hurt to discuss with your Dr. especially given the frequency of testing you probably under go.  As l stated, works great as long as you drink lots of water. I drank some Gatorade for good measure too.

Well I have an appt. coming up in a couple weeks and will ask for sure. Thanks for the heads up, have to say drinking all the liquid in the gallon jug is a hassle. Unfortunately I have only half as much to look at now, so hopefully all is good.

I'll consult my wife and see if I can have her find the article, she's the nurse or was once upon a time. The basics of this and a quick google search will most likely pull up the information is that taking an Alka-Seltzer once a day is a preventative for kidney stones. Apparently what ever is in it helps to break up the stones.

Tonya (my better half) takes a preventative for migraines that works well for her, down side is it causes her to create stones. So this is one method she has had good results in keeping them at bay, better knock on wood for her now that I said that......

Out mowing at 6:45. No mower in the pond today. Bought a push mower for the area around the pool. Trimmed around the fence lines and then washed everything and took a nap. Now I’m the pool with the family.

So wife and I head up to a Indian Casino for my birthday. There has been a fire burning up in the Lake County area for a few days, but a new fire broke out in Yolo county near the Casino we were heading to. https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/article214136824.html
I was actually surprised the road was open for us. It went from 85 to 89 on the way up there and I took a few pics with the phone on level 5 of the parking garage. Cal Fire was all over and I am sure there are many homes lost out there. This was around 2300 and all I think they could really do was to protect what they could with the access they had. I would say this was about 1 miles from where we were and you could see flames shooting several hundred feet into the air. Yes, that is the casino you see in the last picture.

It was a crazy couple weeks in Kentucky. Got the house sold and Grandma's belongs all packed up and on the way to Nebraska.
My wife lost 3 cousins while we were there. 1 drug related. 1 murdered by his own brother over a woman. 1 natural causes. 2 of the 3 were under 30 years old.
We are spending a few days in Pigeon forge. Went out for our anniversary and took my daughter on a trail ride. Zane is a big fan of the TV show Forged in Fire so we went to the black smith shop. For $15 he got to make a little knife out of a nail. Other than that just we are just being lazy before we head home.

Man, This is one gabby group.

Sound like women gossiping at a church picnic!

If you were birds, you'd be roosters

If you were bugs, then you'd be cicadas

If you were in Africa, you'd be hyeneas

If in South America, then howler monkeys,

If in Congress, you'd be a democrat commenting on anything about Trump

If in North Korea, you'd all be in a forced labor camp (Especially anyone named Dave)

If you all were a submarine, you'd be sunk in 45 seconds

If you were part of an airplane then you'd be the engines

If you were a satellite, well you wouldn't be a satellite, because they just silently sit there and appear to do nothing,

If you were voting, you cast seven hundred forty two votes in the same time most folks cast one

If you were a stream, it would be a noisy one needin' to be dammed up

In a weather system, you all would be the thunder clap

and in the calm afterward...No where to be found

I'm just glad there is an actual DOT thread to contain most of this chatter in one near and ever expandin' place! ;-)

I started at 6 this morning with a pick ax tearing up some dead sod 10 foot by 20 foot area getting it ready to lay weed mat & stone (once I get my truck back to haul stone on trailer). Took me about an hour and half and I was covered in dirt & sweat. Took shower then ran and got groceries for the week including the 3rd & 4th as we’re hosting here, our deck has a nice view of local works so it’s become a standard for us to host.

Then measured up the downstairs bathroom for new trim & ship lap a couple walls along with new light fixtures and paint. Supposed to redo that room next Saturday.

I probably more resemble a howling house cat but whatever.

Today early start washing the dually. Then into the shop for clay, polish, wax. Then new windshield and then it goes on the block for a sale.

I clay barred my black 03 back when I was young and had time for that sort of stuff.  (I used to wax that truck several times a year.)  The clay really did clean it up good.

Clay does wonders, I still use the Mother’s clay bar like the old days.  Cleans all of the grime off the paint.

Jr go buy a box for $13 bucks and try a fender as directions say.   You’ll be sold in ten minutes!

Well started claying the dually. OMG was it in dire need. Clay was sticking and it felt like sandpaper.  The clay I’m using is white and it looked black/grey when done. Clayed one rear quarter and a door and a couple of windows before taking a break for pool time and a whiskey. It’s going to look awesome when finished.  My wife bet me that I would not want to sell it when I get done. LOL.

I need a bigger shop so I can park a dozen trucks.  Did I mention I love trucks??  I don’t think I’ll ever drive a car again.

Half ton not getting much love. Had to take it back to the clear bra shop to have the bumper redone as the area around the fog light was peeling up. He was so cool about it he clayed, polished and ceramic coated the paint for free.

It’s sitting at the house while the other two are at the weekend place.

When I’m done wit the dually I have nano coatings for the glass, rubber, fabric and leather to put on it.

Wanna take care of my Jeep for me while you're at it?

Also it wasn't today but yesterday after work, I found out my Jeep has a block heater. Apparently the previous owner never used it either as it was still ziptied up in a corner of the engine bay.

LoL Nate....you picked the most "diverse" city in Nebraska to reside. Also the one with the stupidest gun "laws" .... can't even leave a Ar pistol on the dash while navigating the Lexus's with 20's traffic out to buy new Jesus sandals crowd.

TRN... I like clay bars for detailing daily drivers. They certainly cut the crud quickly. I just did my F250.
