What's a good, lightweight, portable water purifier
« on: March 07, 2019, 12:20:49 PM »
I am looking for a good hand or foot pump type water filter to pump out of ponds and streams to fill 5 gal water jugs.

Who has experience with these...Recommendations?

I’ll second that brand. Have not used that big. Have used smaller ones.

For in a pocket of a BOB I have lifestraws.
1” diameter, 10” long. Literally a straw.
But not a volume producer.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Sawyer is my personal go to, inexpensive and have been running them for years. And they also are tested to filter out better than a large quantity of the others on the market.

I’ve got an extra if you want me to send it out. If bought in four packs on sale, they end up only being about 12$ a piece. So I have a few...

Yea, Nate...Fitting it to Ravin8

Will supply drinking and personal hygiene water and that used to wash dishes

Mostly, I just want to create work for the prerangers going to/from the water source carrying heavy 5 gal jugs...Training...
