Who rides a horse to Walmart?  Do you tie it up at a bike stand? Do you put a lock on your saddle?

A Cowboy......few people today know how to ride and sometimes horses have ejection seats, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Kinda like locking a stick shift vehicle nowadays-

Dave, in Amish country Indiana / Ohio at all the businesses they had places to tie up horses & buggies.

When I was 18 I was driving us20 thru Mishawaka IN. At around 1 am doing 60 & coming around a big S curve approaching a stop light. There was a van in the left turn lane stopped and I had the green light. Out of corner of my eye I thought I saw movement just left of that van so I took foot off brake and hovered it over the brake pedal. Drunk Amish guy was letting his horse get him home. Unfortunately said horse didn’t stop for the red lights. I locked up the brakes and skidded quite a ways narrowly missing the horse and buggy.
