We have to be extremely careful with the mental health argument. Psychology has been proven to be very similar to taro card reading, and giving witch doctors the power to determine mental health restrictions is a setup for abuse, intentionally or not. They're already possibly creating a larger issue with the meds they prescribe. ... Ironically, the ones that, in theory, could help prevent shootings, might carry blame for some of these shootings.

Shawn, just him going around in circles posting like 10 times to my 2 times, oh, and calling me a f*** face. He's even posted 2 more times since I last checked, telling me that Louisiana law supersedes fed, again.
I would link, but don't want to share my utube handle.

I just got in a YouTube fight with some guy that called me all kinds of names because I told him it was Federal law for a gun dealer to run background checks, no matter what state. He kept arguing that Louisiana was different and you could buy long guns (ARs) there without background, because it was state law. Smh

You ever go to work, and find yourself installing a saddle holster, in a Ranger, for a 45/70 , instead of working? No? Hmm

You bring up Chicago and they imediately say "but, the guns come across state lines". Yeah, I'm pretty sure Indiana has fed background checks as well.
So, what they're really saying is "Chicago banned guns, so now the crooks have to steal them elsewhere."

I personally would never install a fitting that contains an o-ring connection, behind a wall. O-rings will fail at some point, just the nature of the beast. The one time I did (sharkbite quick connect style), it failed. Of course, this is just my opinion, and probably worthless...so carry on.

I think that the only thing they should ban is leftists owning guns. :)

Real - men don't need no recoil pad. Get rid of that and go with a good steel butt plate so you can end up with a shoulder that looked like mine after shooting mine. LOL

Good looking rifle, I have 2 45/70 rifles and love both just not the bruised shoulder
I'll have you know, it's your fault I got that darn thing. Shame on you for posting up pics!!

Shawn, I had a choice between the Marlin and Henry. The henry action was tighter, and the machining a little more precise, and nicer furniture imo.
I liked the Marlin lever/handle better, and also the gated magazine...just something weird about loading a rifle with your hand over the muzzle that seems "off". lol

I happen to agree. Kids are turning into lost souls without a religious foundation. I get the impression that it's also mainstream/hip to belittle"Bible thumpers" now, where as 20 years ago, neither athiests nor Christians attacked each other for their beliefs (as often). Just my perspective

Thanks Wilbur, I didn't want to take the #666 post. :)
Tex, the dirt at my place, and my brother's which is were I'm working now, is straight up powder. It won't compact, nor absorb water. Really difficult to work with... actually extremely difficult, and it goes down between 3 and 6 feet before hitting Az clay/concrete. Not sure if Tex red clay is better, but it looks nice. Lol

Stumbled onto this husband/wife team on the youtube from down under. He shoots, she spots, and lately they've been trying to break the 5000 yard barrier with a custom Cheytac 375.
In this video he adds a Charlie Tarac mirror system to the scope to gain as much as 400 moa of adjustment. I believe he also builds (and sales) his own muzzle breaks, along with a couple other goodies:

Around here, their warranty varies between retailers, not necessarily Craftsman's fault, but might be. I've been denied a ratchet warranty at a small sears outlet, and my employee was denied a couple broken sockets at a large sears store. (from using an impact).

I thought about sending in my Benchmade for sharpening, no cost but 5 weeks turn around. Chzz I think I?ll just figure it out myself. Maybe if I had two and swapped them out every few months haha!
Ask the wife to get you a Work Sharp sharpener. It works like a charm, and you can bust through a whole set of kitchen knives in about 10 minutes, making the wife happy in return. The Ken Onion version is the nicer model, and you can buy separate attachments. I've tried diamond blocks, rods, etc. and they are junk compared to the "belt sander" design. It's the only tool I have that will effectively sharpen s110v steel (spyderco manic2)which is a bunch harder than my benchmade.

Not trying to be negative, but a pool heater will burn through that tank like a ford burning fuel on flat ground...at least that's the feedback I've received from friends (yes my wife is trying to get me to go down the same path...I've been fighting her off for about 6 years now)
