Then so the broomstick could be retired we had to replace one lift struts and add another, also am now aware of what the difference between single and double shear is...

I like that, and interestingly enough, I plan to buy my 15 year old one of those and build it as a father/son thing sometime this year.

Currently the XJ has 31 inch BFG All terrains on 15 inch wheels, 4.5 inch lift the best we can tell, it also has SYE, and detachable sway bar links.

Goals for the XJ is to replace the front and rear bumpers, add light bar, mount the rack properly (hose clamps don't count), proper sized battery, remove the getto sub and amplifier wiring, add an anti-theft kill switch, and new gas struts to replace the broomstick handle currently residing in the trunk.

Recently I purchased a 2000 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) with the help of my dad. So he is pushing for me to start a build thread so... here we go.
