Did you put any resistors on those LEDs? Look REALLY bright.

I did everything I could on my LBZ. It was definitely a project. 5mm in the big stuff, 3mm in the smaller switches/buttons. Even did the steering wheel buttons.

Sorry to hear about your discomfort JR.

That being said, reminds me of something I saw on the wall of the bathroom in a bunker in Belgium:  Here I sit all broken hearted, tried to poop but only farted.

Nice score Shawn.

I really liked my TFT remote trailer tire monitoring system. It was a comfort being able to see temp and pressure on the trailer tires

Onboard air system is another nice to have

Jon got ‘em going early!

Thanks Charles, may need to look into the TFT system. I have two seperate small compressors. One is viair that runs off auto battery and second I a small Senco unit that I can run off truck inverter.
I think Charles means TST.

I have the TST system too and what bugs me is the screen is not oriented in the way the truck rolls down the road…

If I had to do it again, I’d probably get this system from TireMinder. It is oriented portrait with the truck at top and trailer at bottom - in line with how you drive. Just makes more sense.

I spent the last 1.5 days bucking and cleaning up a half of a 150yr old cottonwood that got tore up in the last storm that went through the inlaws farm.

That saw has a 25" bar on it, so van give you a size reference.  There were a couple of really nasty splinters with some tension on them. Being that i was working solo with a 18" saw, a 25" saw, a skid loader and a dump trailer, i just took my time and took little chunks at a time to relieve the tension so i didnt kill myself.
Good, one less cottonwood. That crap wreaks havoc on my allergies.

Pulled the camper home tonight to get it ready for this weekend… hooked up the water to it to de-winterize and water started pouring out the back end.

Stupid fitting to the hose sprayer port thingy popped loose.

$16 later at home depot for a new fitting and added a valve and I’m back in business.

I think part of the issue is the hole was drilled too far away from the fitting, so it was being pulled sideways. Dug thru the irrigation parts and found a 1/2” coupler and close nipple and now it lines up perfect.

I’m lucky this was easily accessible from our outdoor kitchen area. Just remove the drawer that hoods the little stovetop.

And the tubing they use isn’t real pex.

Wife and I are on a driving tour of MI, OH, KY, and IN trying to determine where we might want to move. Just NE of Cincy tonight, down to Louisville and up to Indy tomorrow.

Don, would have hit you up if we had more time, but who knows, we may be nearby soonish…
Ryan,
You wouldn't be the first to stop by from the site. Been a good day to share church today.
Mr. Woody has gone with me now several times.
Yeah if we had more time I would have tried to set something up. So far Ohio and Kentucky are at the top of our list. Cities seem pretty clean, so are the roads. People are nice, and I like being able to drive 80mph :)

You know what they say… here’s the proof…

Spent the past 3 days at woodbage. It's leader traing for Boy Scouts. Pretty intense I have 2 more days in a few weeks. I really learned a lot and made some new friends. To pass the course I gave to make and achieve 5 goals in the troop with an 18 month deadline. I got 2 approved by council with 3 to go.

I have been offered that too but never went. Got my outdoor/camping training at Camp Merryweather a few years back. We have to start doing livescans out here with stupid CA CYA laws in affect. Youth protection alone was 2 hours (boring as I have prior training)

Nice job Jon, wish I still had the get up for all that. Oldest ages out in a few months, other is getting board but they are signed for summer camp again.
Meriwether up in Oregon? That was my first scout camping trip. We launched rockets out in the sand dunes.

I personally haven’t had one, but on my old truck (the LBZ) it had a bullet hole through the front and back of the toolbox…bullet was lodged in the front of the bed, under the bedliner.

Added another pair of stabilizers to the travel trailer. She’s a big girl, so it bounced a bit in the middle when set up due to the flex in the suspension. Not any more.

Cut these blocks and then attached them to the frame. Though about welding them but they seem pretty solid with the bolts I used. Fits just perfectly around the gray tank pipe.

Yes, I’m sure they’ll get some junk in them from the tires, but oh well.

Yes, on the destination.
Naw on the barn...there's still room under the awning after putting on the last 20 feet of tin.

Couple issues with the Lambda platform… (at least with the 2011 Acadia we had)

Steering rack
Head leaks oil into the spark plug tubes

They don’t get the best fuel mileage from a V6 (do any of them??) and I agree a turbo would’ve been amazing. Other than those things it was a nice rig. Yours is even nicer I’m sure cuz it’s a Buick :)

I hate getting diesel in Ca. Besides out inflated prices and taxes.

Normal routein is going to Reno and putting $100 in at costco. Filling cans when needed is another swipe with the $100 limit (works well in this time, right?)

Run more errands (never seems to stop) and run up to the Ridge. Then I top off leaving town, getting close to the $100 again.

Normally this will get me through to the next trip up, but hasn't worked for a few trips now with scouts and equip issues.
$100 limit - is that a bank limitation maybe? Do you not use the Costco credit card? Mine went to $130+ the other day.

I had the oil change light come on in the L5P today on my way in.  Weather to take it to the dealership or crawl under it myself.

Choices and more choices

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You should do neither of the above options. You should think outside the box, or like Don, take the box, fill it with tannerite and shoot it.

Dealership costs money, crawling underneath is just uncomfortable. Install a lift and youndont have to Go to the dealership or crawl, and you make more use of your beautiful garage.  Problem solved.   :)

The BFG all terrain tire is what was on the wheels when purchased for $600 bucks, the tires are maybe 500 miles of use.
