Yesterday morning I was watching the replay of Mohamed Ali and George Foreman 1974 fight on ESPN. When I heard a racket outside. My brother was out there with a tractor and disk working my garden. I took that as a clue to get off my rear and go to work. I got most of my raised beds ready to go. Got some peas planted. Went to town and bought a bunch of sickly looking tomato plants. Today I will be on the search for more seed potatoes.

I bought 2 of the big kits that Tex recommend to keep in the service truck and combine. Then 5 boo boo kits to keep in various trucks and the planter tractors. My brother and I both have some first responder training. It's been a long time for me. Back when u was on the volunteer fire Dept. Little Brother has had more. He actually drove the rescue squad.

The Wagyu are fed. Man the sleet stings. I seen on Facebook down Nate's way they had some big hail. I have 3 pork bellies in the fridge on day 8. 1 regular, 1 Jim beam, and one coffee. I was going to throw them in the smoker today. I think I will wait. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Th pillars are a little taller than I thought they would be. Buy they are not all the way full either. We will set the container then the building attaches to the top of them. Picture 2 is along side the shop and fuel barrels. There is a 30x40 open front going there. A place to park the pickup, 4 wheeler, side by sides etc. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Pretty busy day yesterday. Finally getting around to putting up the conex box building I was taking about last fall. Got concrete pillars the boxes will sit on poured. We hired that done. We had to get 4x4x1/2 angle iron to make brackets to weld on and bolt them down. Got the bosses truck back from the detail shop. That's his toy I guess. Over $200,000 in it and the pup trailer he pulls. 5 years old only has 10,000 miles. Most of the time it's just in way. My nephew wanted some goats so I sold him my pains in the rears. I had to deliver some groceries over there. 3/4 full hay rack of alfalfa. It was nice I got to take a 4 mile cruise on grandpas old tractor. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Sorry about the mix up on the weight rating. I am going to have to double check the rest of the 6 lug axles before I sell them as 7k. Actually my partner in this was going to swap out the 5k axles for 7k on his car trailer. Identical to what I sent you. If they are the same thing just one extra stud then there is no point.

Looking at your fuel tank there. It like what i use for water. Put a schrader valve in the top bung and charge it with air. You will fill way faster. I can push water through a 50 ft garden hose effortlessly. I found that gravity feed just don't work. The little compressor in the picture didn't last long. You need a real compressor.

Moved mother in law upstairs. Wife reclaimed her office on the main floor. She took her nice big corner desk out of the basement. Leaving me with a microwave cart to put my computer on. Currently in searching of a desk. Maybe a stand up with a barstool. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

You guys get haircuts every week or 2?
3 times a year for me. Spring shave a soon as we go a week from the last frost. High and tight. Mid summer touch up. Then around Thanksgiving to look respectable for holiday photos. I may have to throw in another if there is a funeral. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Smoothing out the spot where we were parking miscellaneous equipment. Spread a bunch of crushed concrete over top and now we have a nice place to park trucks. Instead of just anywhere that looks like it might be out of the way. Possible plans to extend the existing building in the future so they can be under a roof. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

If you wet the floor the paint wont stick to it. Spray it down with a garden hose. When it all dries sweep up the paint.

Oh yeah and somewhere in the day I managed to find time to move a shed from one town to another for a friend. Had to winch it on the gooseneck trailer and get a tractor to drag it off at the new location.

It was a long day. Just about got this bin with a pit in it cleaned out. Trucks got full before I got it empty. This bin leaks alot so it's about to be retired. The foundation is shot. Little brother had a rough afternoon trimming trees at the camp site. Got the lift stuck and then dropped a large branch on the water hydrant and broke the top off. Tomorrow we get to dig it up and replace it. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

It’s to let first responders and other medical personnel know there is a tourniquet places on that individual in case they are not able to communicate and you are not available to relay the information.

Unless you are dead set on new you can pick this up for a fraction of the price and really should last a really long time for what you want to do. https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1980JohnDeere1050SMFWDCompactUtilityTractorWJD75LoaderI can hook you up with a small box scraper brand new for a very reasonable price. My neighbor that we feed the Wagyu for deals them. You can get a real good cut on the 3 point mowers. You have to get finish blades and keep them sharp.

My adult daughter is in the Hospital in Omaha. They tested her for Covid 19 yesterday. She has had a fever of over 100 for 17 days. None of the local hospitals or clinic would test her. They tested her for everything BUT covid 19. All negative. All they said was she has something viral. Go home and it will pass. But yet the health department called her every day to check on her. Lucky for us my ex-sister in law is a higher up at one of the hospitals in Omaha. She raised enough cain that they got Brooke in on a Saturday afternoon and tested her. They wont have results for several days. I have to wonder how many other people in these rural communities are sick but they are not testing? The virus wont spread if they don't test for it, will it?
Please add her and everyone affected to your prayers.

I am interested in this as well. However I will probably never build one. I just don't have time or a place to keep it going all winter. I find it fascinating. Some people are raising fish and plants all in the same system. If you have the money you can buy one in a shipping container all assembled. Just add water. http://www.growtainers.com/I know thats WAY bigger than you want but the possibilities are endless.

They make a pretty decent trailer for light duty if you put a good deck on. The frames are pretty flimsy.

Helped my brother put together a tin shed for the river campsite. That's about it for the week. Home now because it rained all day yesterday and snowed all night. I have a project in the warehouse but I couldn't get the door open far enough to get it out and into the shop. Everything is frozen shut. I will use this time to spend with the family being lazy around the house. The school is delivering lunch for the kids for free. I wasn't going to sign up for it but some of our neighbors did so we did too. They have to drive by the house they just as well stop off here too. With the cheaper fuel prices we locked in 20,000 gallons for the year at. Greatly discounted price. It's at an 18 year low right now. It may drop some yet but we went ahead and locked the price in now. I don't remember the exact numbers but it was like $2.17 for road Diesel and $1.75 a gallon for dyed red field master. I know it's cheaper at the pump right now but this price includes delivery to the farm.

Not much going on. It's too rainy and muddy to do anything outside and the grain markets are way down. So were farting around in the shop. Wife talked to her cousin in Cincinnati. She said that the national guard was out. Shes a nurse in a dialysis clinic. Her and her patients need a travel permit to be on the road.
