Build a kiln to dry it all out and you would be solid

Jr if you moved that whole dividing wall between shop and home five feet into shop you could gain some very valuable footage

The master bath could grow back keep the sink and make Privia the room for toilet, shower wider then four feet
Your kid bathroom would be able to have a that tub you want and a linen closet now to keep some fresh towels.

Mostly that laundry room is to small for three persons to live with.  Five feet should be able to flip the washer dryer combo 90 degrees and give you cabinet space behind for countertop and uppers

The kitchen could get a much more needed pantry space.   Remember nothing is close and retirement means you don’t need to always travel and you could stock supply more stuff less trips

Well, I am the one who sleeps in. As for taking over a spot, she does the shower (how can you need 10-12 bottles), the bedroom (can't see the top of her dresser) and so on. Her side of the room is worse, the floor is covered with clothes, dresser drawers keep "memorabilia".

For the toilets, it stays IN the bathroom. There is one in the shop already.

Single sink is a go, makes sense. With wifey or not, the bigger shower I like.
I would never build a bathroom with double sink or a tub ever again shower dual head.

Just an update

Our lumber supplier has sold 3 million on lumber in a week, that’s almost a months worth.

The two largest lumber companies in my are just merged, they closed doors to joe off the street.  If you don’t have an account they are not selling you lumber.  Leaving joe handyman option being phone a friend or open an account or homedepot or Lowe’s
In my area

Plans are about done, few little changes to go. Already added a sink in the laundry room and added several barn doors.

I reversed the master toilet and shower so I can have a bigger shower.

Also think I will go with stamped concrete for the patio.
Stop for the love.   The double sink is stupid.  Every wife wants a double sink no darn reason.    How often do you use the bathroom together?   You poop and she is nowhere near it.   She poops and again you are no we’re near it

Single sink is all that is required save 500 and dump the double sink

Move toilet to sink cabinet side build a pricey wall and make the shower big.  Shower large enough you can bend over and wash them ol feet with out hitting your head on the wall

You guy have no idea how many times a week I tell customers double sinks are such a waste of space, money, time, function

Dumb

Rant over

That’s an interesting ide Shawn, I usually use a bar stool as time out in the middle of the room.   Nothing to play with there,

I try to keep dinner as peaceful as possible these days very few family time is dedicated. But standing is an option.   He might like it on the other hand lol

Tomorrow we will see how it goes.  I woke him up at 10 and went outside. We walked in the dark barefoot until he was awake enough to tell me what he though would be a acceptable reward for being good tomorrow

He wants a monster truck toy I took away months ago

I noticed my suspension will drop further then my bags will allow.

Do I need some sort of limit straps or are the bags held together well enough to keep together?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But when the truck appears to be empty it is full of air......so when the bed of the truck is full of stuff, you just move the air from the bed of the truck into the bags. That way you have it with you for when you take all the stuff out of the back.

Today is the trial of what to do with a boy who like attention, prefers bad attention

I can’t seem to find a way to reward the pour boy when every time I turn around he does something mean, hurtful or rude to everyone.  Today was a long day for him at daycare.

Tonight he is in his room, pjs and all

I have maintained civil words.

Were you a good boy today at daycare?
: no I wasn’t

Were you nice to mom before I got home from work?
: no

You will not be playing outside.

We can try again tomorrow and if you can give me different answers to these two questions we will see if you can go out and play

Is five to young to learn this?

So drill another hole, then use the center one. Or, replace the mounting piece or, just not worry about it. People don’t tend to get on their hands and knees looking to see how many holes you drilled.
I can’t think of a logical reason to change what I have, meets the manufacturer specs

I’m good.  Two air valves is ok by me.

I’m of the one fill camp.  Those who worried about air transfer from one bag to the other in turns are over thinking it IMO It would have to be a high speed long sweeping turn with a lot of weight to transfer any significant air.  And yeah one full bag and one empty is not helpful if one leaks

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I didn’t account for air transfer on a one valve system

Did you try it for any time?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I guess one would work,   You loose pressure in one bag you might as well empty the other bag

No sense in one siding riding different

What would you have me do with it? Not like your can buy a class V that is hidden any better

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2334
Yeah, what’s the arguement other than don’t hang stuff from bottom of bumper......
Is it because it’s low?  I figured the hitch would block all things that might catch

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Children in masks
« on: August 25, 2020, 11:37:46 AM »
I had a very real moment last night taking my boys to the back to school, half empty school, none of the fun school games, no raffles, no ice team bars, just hall way full of masked strangers.

My boys can be terrors no doubt but I can promise the only reason I don’t kill them is their smiles!!  My boys have a snicker like God himself gave them a get out of jail free card with a smile.

Their teacher will never see it!!!! They will never get to see the sweet smile of a understanding teacher who knows the struggles of being pushed by a bigger kid or the sneer of a little girl who thinks he is cute.  It honestly hurts my heart to know that it’s all a political bull shiv that is starving my children of the most basic communication two people can have!! A Fin SMILE!

Mad and hurt

Today on the Silverado I finally added those airbags

I should be able to stop that California lean now

It’s a simple system with china man instructions but I made do.

I also finished the replacement parts for the b&w turnover ball hitch I have had. The previous owner of the hitch had some really hoaky parts that were simply not factory.
It’s all factory now

Added some floor joists and sheeted the floor. I took some scrap and boxed off the stair way hole so kids can’t get shoved off.

Now to build the hand rail.    Still debating on running studs to the ceiling with a four inch spacing or.... half wall
