Worse yet, Shawn told me to fire YOU !!! Buahahaha

Just looked at a used dump trailer today, from the same people I got the 5 ton from (a used car lot). It's one of those "slightly extremely used landscaper models" that typically go for 5k new. I asked how much, he says 5795.00 (weird number but whatever). I said look, I've got cash, lets talk about this....that's more than it was when new!. He counters with, "ok, I'll take 5595.00". I just shook my head and told him he was on crack, then drove away.

I just visited the ole DF forum for giggles. Heck, I didn't even know that the new Dmax engine finally came out...the L5P...with 910 ft lbs! There you go, I just spent the rest of your money.

Oh, your "My Build thread" is still one of the top viewed threads at 1.6 million, and square d is almost 1 million views. (more useless info)

Well Don, looks like the jury is in. You have to get a skidsteer and a dump trailer (been looking at dumpers for a couple months myself).

...oh...how's that sagging gate? :pokeD

And that doesn't count the much higher enviromental cost of producing an electric car, especially the batteries.

I found that if you pre-dig a starter hole, a few inches down by hand, it keeps the auger from jumping around, then move the tractor forward about half way down to keep her straight(ish).

Dang Wyo, when I read that first sentence "I transitioned" I thought you were going down a different path with your story. lol

We know what you're talking about. Mr. Nate mentioned it multiple times on here. I imagine that his heart rate has dropped considerably since leaving the service...at least when it comes to those little heathens.

Nice trip JR.
Longball, congrats. It's good to do something you can feel proud of for years to come.

Charles, it had some brakes.  (3 rear ones to be exact) 30k lbs of water, no tags, cracked frame, blowing all the gear oil out of the front diff because the axles started flailing at 25 mph, and smoking like a freight train....pretty exciting.
Oh, and the middle axle made a horrendous clunk around corners, enough to lift the truck....like the spiders were welded.
Sure glad DPS was still in bed this morning.

It's a DWX726...2 Benjamins. The sucky thing is, HD runs a special during Christmas that when you buy the large corded miter (600.00), you get the stand free. They don't do that with the flexvolt version.

I also got lucky...the new ones don't have material rollers on the sides, just metal bars, but I guess my local store had old stock (2016 on the box) and it came with them.

Bot sure why they even went with a 5.5 bed, only truck they made it for. I had a 1500hd, those had the 6.5 bed. But mileage and power sucked.

I would go cloth if I did it again.
Grocery getters JR. I hear they're popular in Colorado.

I'd love to have one just can't validate that expense.

I couldn't either, that's why I didn't have one. The one I originally wanted was the corded only version of this one, and it's 600 bones at HD. Looking at it that way, I'd say he got a good deal! lol

Not sure I quite get the need for cordless mitre saw, but cool non the less and what a great thoughtful gift from your brother.
I feel ya, but I look at it as a corded saw, with the capability of being cordless. ..actually been a helper on an off grid build site before that it might have been handy, even though we had a generator.

I can't believe what my brother did for me today. He knows I've been investing in Flexvolt stock and basically the only thing I didn't have was a mitre saw (the one I do have is an old Ryobi cheapo). HD had a clearance on the one I wanted, so he got it for me for helping him with his house project. Gotta take some pics

Yeah Sam, I know there was quite the confusion because alot of guys said that their's came with the blue stuff (Autotrac2), but the HDs never came with an auto transfer case...even some of my shop books say autotrac fluid.
I think they switched to dex6 at the same time as the transmissions did.
