Nice work. I take it the drip rails now drip vs channeling the water away?

Good looking road there too. So you did you buy or rent?

Hoping my little 45hp does a fair job on my roads, picking it up today.

Is that the HF stud gun you are using? Mine is OK but grabbing the studs is a chore.

Here is a pic from the n/e corner. I drove up to about 100ft from where I want to build (front of truck. You can see the end of the road too (south)

Here is a sorta 3d pic. Plotting out the road, pad and well area. The yellow dash is where I was parked in the above pic.

My cell sits right where that new switch is on yours. Doesn't block the view and I can see it fine.

Like the new head unit, thought off and on about doing that in mine. I also have XM and rarely play CDs.

In retro do you wish a 10.5 had found its way to you?

Dang, you must be going pretty close to my place. Was thinking about heading up there tomorrow, looks like weather is coming in too.

To bad about the tires. Never makes for a fun trip.

5612
Gave the ultimate for others.

What more can you add.

5613
Not including jeeps, I scored 550.

Never rolled, never driven topless. I did run over a VW bug off roading once,,,,,,,,,

Can't believe it cost $100 for me to do an oil change today. Changed the trans filter too.

I will add it runs so much better now with the new gearing. Shifts without pulling as hard.

Finally got the speedo reprogrammed too, dead on. With 35s its turning 2k at 70mph. 37s should be perfect. Plus the ABS/brake lights are off now.

Good life span there. I hear cannon has that issue but sounds like they stepped up.

Just replaced the batteries in my Liberty 72, at least 7-8 years.

County did have free contour maps for both 30ft and 10ft, but the 10ft stops 2 parcels west of my parcel. 30ft (10mt really) is not bad, better than the 100 from USGS.

Mine is done. Weld on are about $500, but I need to measure the bucket first.

Dang, a once over and an oil change is costing almost $800. Hope they topped off the fluids at least.

5621
Going to stay for the next setup. Gears and labor are handled.

You may need 37s sooner than you think. Withs 35s and 4.88s that motor is going to be screaming at 70mph.

Don't know how much area a welded thumb takes up, but if you ever want to use other attachments on the bucket stick make sure you will have room with a welded in place thumb.

Yep, don't want to limit any use of the bucket. Install vids all show spacing it off the bucket.

Thanks, looking at options and would for sure match it to the bucket.

Don't even think the kabota thumb will work on mine with the QR bucket.

What do you guys think of a weld on thumb? About 1/2 the price and includes hoses, free shipping.

My stock setup has a quick release bucket which adds to the dedicated thumb cost.

Might be an option. Got a card from the seller who says there is a local who does that.

5630
Hard to hear, but it is there.

5631
Got the Dmax back from the shop today with the 4.56 gears. Has a whine now in both drive and coast. Setup looks OK, filled with Amsoil.

MPH is way off after a new tune, like 15mph (showing 85 for 70gps). It needs the 37s now, turning 2k at true 70mph.

Darn ABS and brake warning are on with the diff gears. Time for the lift to get on!

Nate I hate you. Last time we were at Sears point Kyle Bush stopped signing autographs as we walked up, then he won. (I don't like kyle, reminds me of stewart)

Kids weren't happy but got Stenhouse Jr's.

Yep, thought about ballast, will need to check. The 45 is considered a large compact

Did a lot of reading last night and many say tractor width minimum and over is OK, even with smaller machines.

I am don't have wet or clay soil either, not by a long shot. Some surface rocks and it looks like granite, great for drilling!

Tractor should be out of the shop next week, just waiting on a horn button (I splurged)

Ordered a 3 point setup from kabota in sparks. I really like them they are giving me quotes with discounts already. They have Landpride box blades in stock. 6ft is $1000.

Been sorta looking for a thumb and forks. Not sure about the clamp on forks, anyone have those? Rather have quick release.

On the thumb. From kabota it is $900 for just the thumb. Sure the kit is double that. Got a quote from Toms Thumbs for about $1600 with hydro or $1000 for a weld up kit (with all pins and clips)I just supply hoses (I like).

Nice thing is the backhoe is setup for a thumb with plumbing and foot controls.

I believe an emergency bake must be a separate system, line lock doesn't work. Brakes fail, you need to stop you still don't have brakes, most are mech vs hydro.

Napa should have conversion universals in stock. Pretty common really.

On the air bag issue, just add a shut off valve in line? Open and adjust as needed, close and bags are isolated.

5643
Never mind, figured it out. Jeff's a good guy, tell him I said hello.

I was wondering if you knew him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

5644
Your the guy who would know too, had me going for a sec!

5645
He came recommended by a local diesel shop. Reviews looked good.

Has more axles in there than many yards.

Quoted $400, plus fluids.

Dropped off the Dax at River City Diff in Rancho Cordova this am. Said he will have it done tomorrow.

Called to ask for a pic of it when he gets things setup and a pattern pic. He is already working on it, said he used to work for Randys.

Here’s another thought, maybe Don should drive within limits of suspension.

Oh, I think the suspension will handle it just fine. Even with deep mulch beds.

I also think the airbags are a moot point with as little that will transfer unless it a LONG turn and the sway bar helps that too.

Nate, we are the BIGGER versions,,,,,
