Kids are already talking bike path and jumps. There really a good variety of usable land. Plus there are several paths out, but not normal roads.

My land stops just prior to that hill. But I was thinking in the same ball park. Solar power well with a 2500 gal tank. Like to support a small pond in the natural runoff (lined) giving a larger area for upgrading the  foliage.

Here is the area I want to build on with the peak in the rear (not my prop)

Yep, hard to tell. The area boxed dips behind the right where the blue line ends, in fact that is a nice little hill.

The green rep the high ground which continues around to the east to the far side in the first picture.

So, here is a little idea of what I want and some overview. The area N/W (upper left) is much flatter than I first thought, but still a little valley.

You can see my truck and the family going back and some of the valley below. I was standing where the green dot is.

Yellow dots are the corners, white dot is my truck. White box is where I am thinking about building.

Yellow arrows point to neighbors and cannot be seen if I build in the white boxed area. White arrows point to the valley view from that spot.

That was cool, love the CNC stuff. I would do electric though, 1/3 the parts, more power.

I have a little CT70 for the kids to play with, you can stand up off that. (same thing my dad always said)

Broke more than 1 bone on a bike, I was a little crazier in my early years.

Maybe a side by side later, quad would fit well now. Can't be anymore dangerous than a snowmobile,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Do like the idea of EFI. Want it to run all the time.

For me to run around on. Not smooth land, 1/4x1/3 mile, mail is a mile away too.

I don't mind walking, have walked it a lot. But working on something, running from one end to another, etc.

EFI sounds good, was a little hard to start.

Don't need it now, just happen to be here and not much avail where I am.

Opinion guys.

Looking at a,2002 Yamaha grizzly 660. Really good condition, 200hrs,winch aftermarket tires and wheels.

Asking 4500 which I think is high, made an offer and were a few hundred apart. I left it there.

Searching  shows newer ones going for 3 to 4.

Pretty sure it has a front aux, but the rear has the BH, so good there.

Pretty sure I need to get the 3 point arms, so a little extra for the rams and hoses may be called for.

What about width? I am thinking 72in, most look to be around 60.

Finished signing for the land today and took the family there. They were actually much happier with it than I thought, so far so good.

Found 2-3 spots for building and the northwest corner has a even a better vie, but far out.

Looks like several spots may have some underground water with the lots of foilage

My kids are into that crud, not approved but the wife thinks its all a joke.

Anyway, on the way to Reno in the am for some signing, funds transferred.

Dropped off the Kub at a dealer a little north for a once over and oil change. Unless major I will do it from here out.

Trying to decide if I want a box scaper or leveler for cutting and making roads. Open to suggestions.

So far I am paid up with the new land and what goes there.

My current home is my first I got it in 95. Worth 4x times what I paid with about 1/2 mortgage. If Ca goes as I think, I may walk away.

Smart woman there. Maybe mine will do the same. That is my goal.

Plus it is getting scary here, people are leaving in droves. All the time I hear people talk about or said they just bought out of state.

Starting to look at kit homes now. Little until I get there, but I have the toy hauler.

Very proud of our cub scout pack. Once a year we volunteer at the local food bank. Our scouts collected enough food for each family that came though to get 45 items.

Pictured is the trailer full of supplies they collected and delivered a few weeks ago to flood victims. My boy is all the way to the right in the blue shirt.

Nice work, our Troop did the same a few weeks back.

Bumper looks great, like to see the winch idea you have.

On the isolated battery, why not use a relay that works that energizes when the engine is running? Nothing to forget to switch on/off and maybe a little led showing it is charging?
Actually all he needs is a battery isolator.  It’s automatic.  Will allow it to charge but not drain the primary. Essentially it’s just a big diode

????????????

Under the deck to the frame is 18.5, so 18in gives me a little overhang. About 36 under the deck, so I want some ground clearance.

Just a bin on the side of the frame. Looks like I have about 18in to the frame.

I am also thinking of attaching a 6k winch I have sitting here. Think that will come in handy time to time, but I want a bolt on mount. Trailer has a built in 12v charger and a little solar unit. The tilt has 2 rams and locks down.

The tongue box has the hydo system and a Costco soap bucket fits in there great. So it holds a few straps and bungee's. Now I need a place for the chains, binders and blocks.

Just the wrong color, and I will not wear a hard hat (head is hard enough)

So heading up to Reno next week with the family. Going to sign all the stuff, let them look at the land and thinking of dropping the toy off at the local dealer for a once over. Will let me park the trailer while I am there, service is backed up a couple weeks. They said around 4-500 for the service. Sound about right guys?

Buy that time I should have a better idea of what I want do out there. Tractor will be waiting and I can drag the trailer back and forth pretty easy.

I also need a storage bin on the trailer. Do the prices at TSC seem about right.
