Good info Bear. I’m 14-16 ft to the lower eave because of the foundation and 12ft walls. I’d have to make some temp scaffolding. That telehandler is 21000 lbs and ain’t cheap and I bet it has to be delivered. A lot of hassle and expense if it won’t be effective

well got rained out today. so I changed the wiper blades on the LB7. After the front passed, we got some better temps and clear blue skies so I washed it. Still can't get all the bugs off of the front....

Sorry Don, coming along very well Charles!
BTW Charles, where are you getting all that fancy framing terminology? You got a book you're referencing?
Its all about the Google Fu Shawn! I was thinking about sub contracting the roof out but I can't get return calls so I may rent a tele handler and just work from the tele handler. Sure would make 32 sheets of decking up on the roof a whole lot easier

Don I'm a big fan of Sherwin Williams Duration paint laid on with a sprayer. Get a HVLP and just pop the top off the little opening in the 5 gal pail and drop the suction hose in. Paint away! That stuff is really tough.

Yeah if I was shot at and hit with full auto gunfire I’m pretty sure I’d be squealing like a school girl into the mike about the gun fire AND that I was hit. Not, oh let me clear the freq and make a call from my cell phone.

The BA versions are brake attachment versions with a ratchet mechanism. .338 will work very well on any .30 cal and will be future proof. Had I to do over again I’d have gone that route.

Don I’m not saying I’m ruling out a second. However I don’t think his guy said he was a forensic acoustic scientist. He whipped this up one weekend if I recall his statement correctly (I will review again) it’s basic physics which I agree but in twenty minutes he could have addressed what would seem to be the obvious from a former EE major with some physics background like myself. And just because it’s on the internet.... well I could be a reincarnated alien haji.
I’d like to see some corroborating analysis from another source.
In the absence of information assumption and conspiracy rush in to fill the void.

Humble suggestion if I may. I’d triangulate at least the sides of the front wall you built with some plate. Same for the tongue jack as that single cross member will twist.

Well I’m still not convinced even with his science. Couple of things I’d need to research further. A gunshot has a wide spectrum of sound. The low frequencies get attenuated as they bounce off of a sonically reflective surface like all the big glass paneled buildings around. That also mean that the sound traveling from the Mirage to another building to the site of impact will have a different timing because of the longer path. His science seems sound but I don’t think he’s fully considering the reflective path of the echo.

JR I’m nervous about having my new construction open too long although it hasn’t rained much in the 5 weeks I’ve been working on it. If it were existing construction and open I’d be losing my mind. But then I don’t have Cali weather either

Yea too bad Michigan doesn't have the Death penalty, 2 guys from Flint selling pot to 2 brothers from Grand Rapids met in Owosso deal goes bad and the 2 from Flint are shot dead the 2 brothers are claiming self defense, the other 2 pulled a knife is what the defense is saying. Prosecutor says in was the brothers trying to rob the other 2.
Darwinism, right there.
