But a bunch of bed wetting liberals who grew up in a big city and never touched a firearm are so scared that they'll drop and grab the knees of the terrorists who want to kill them rather than admit they need to learn how to shoot.

When it comes to the eurotrash cars I've owened, michelin tires were much better than anything else out there, price or not.
Truck tires, are a different story. I've liked BFGs, Goodyear and Toyo and Nitto. I just dont put enough miles on them to really tell. What ever I get on the truck the road hazard from discount is worth its weight in gold.

Yeah, those robinsons make me nervous. I've shot from those before and not very well I might add. Shooting from a heli is tough.

Yeah, next week I start framing the shed dormer over the stairwell and then the end walls and barge rafters. I made a mistake on the rafters which will require me to cut the tails again. I failed to account for a sub facia board and I need the nailing surface for the hardi soffit. No big deal, just a bit of a hassle. My hope is after next weekend I'm ready to start sheathing the roof.

Don, one thing I've learned is to keep spare parts on hand. If I break blades, I order two sets so that I always have extra on hand. When I use the spares, I order more so that I always have some.
Looking good. Sorry to hear about Sarge.

Although I would suggest that you step up and get the 338BA or the 338 Ultra Thunderbeast. Just a hair bigger than the 7.62 but will work well on 308,300, 338. More versatile than having to buy 2-3 different ones.

Like Don, let this marinate for a bit.
The mirrored glass and flat sonically reflective surfaces make it really hard to accurately discern the truth, but what doesnt add up is all the weapons and two windows broken out.

If black lives mattered, why isn't any one of these "activists" marching on Rom Emanuel and Chicago? Pretty sure its not cops that are murdering those 700+ black men in Chicago each year. How about some NFL players protesting the violence in Chicago?
Meh, I thought not. No one cares about the gang bang thugs killing each other. No money it is for Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson (Sr., not Jr, cause Junior is in jail) or any of the other race hustlers. Want me to pay attention to your social justice cause? Pay attention to your own cause.
Rant off.

At times we struggle with the government we have and this was the basis of the lesson at our house today.
All government, not just the ones we agree with, are ordained by God. And we are called to be subject to them, UNTIL their laws conflict with God's laws. Yes that means, dictatorships, communism, and even Hitler were ordained, not just permitted.
Food for thought.
Be Subject to Government
13 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. 3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; 4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. 5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. 7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

Here's where I left the casita yesterday. Got family coming over for bible study today. Supplier did not have my i joists bracket to make the header needed at the stairwell so I had to make a temporary wall to support. I really really like the i joists. 2 1/4 inch wide flange makes screwing plywood much easier and the joints than a 1.5 inch wide dimensional lumber. And they are super flat and consistent. That floor is very level and solid. As soon as I get the rest of the floor down and header built I'll start framing the roof. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sooo many places I can go. Ken your on thin ice. Red is the color of your face as you struggle to get both your hands around the cankles on Hillary.
Don. Hard to say. Many moons ago I wanted a white truck and my wife insisted that I would look like a contractor so I bought the red one. Every since the. I've been hooked. Red Sea Doo. Red Triumph Daytona 955i, red LB7, red LML. I'm like a magpie drawn to a shiny object

Yeah, I'm still amazed at how close some blackhawks can get to me withouth me hearing them. I've been at the hide a few times when I don't hear them until they are almost right ontop of me. And this is at night in the middle of nowhere in dead silence.
I imagine its like a hadji never hearing the hellfire missle.....

I prefer a live snake.....
Knew a guy once who worked oilfield for Weatherford (older gentlman who was retired when I met him) He had some great stories about how he grew up in the country catching rattlesnakes. When he went to work for Weatherford he would carry a cooler on the truck and toss the snakes he caught on rig sites in there. Some of the things he did with those snakes was downright mean. Put one is a guy's desk drawer in the office (dead) and once a guy asked what he had in the cooler he told him nothing. Guy insisted that he had beer in the cooler and would't share so he told him "go ahead and open the cooler". Needless to say the guy lost it when he opened the cooler.

Placed a game camera in the middle of nowhere this weekend. ..really hope no one steals it.
Lots of infrastructure for being in the middle of nowhere. Maybe get a dud camera to draw attention and then conceal the real one nearby. You'll get pics of people trying to steal the camera. Or you'll get picks of migrant farm workers with backpacks full of meth and explosives looking for a better life in America Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
