Oil at 375, deep fry 10 minutes.  Salt pepper on the wings, drain on paper towels. toss in a bowl with sauce of choice.

I didn't fall off the ladder today. Weeded and Mulched the garden and washed the Bus with help from the oldest. Changed blades on the mower. Mowed out by the road. Cut a new path on the other side of the creek. Checked on the caps I poured to make the other 3 columns level on the casita. Cleaned up the shop and organized some tools. Beat my wife at darts.....again. Sitting by a fire with a whiskey and Diet Coke.

Off today. Drove to the weekend place. Changed out some CFLs for LED replacement baffle can retro fits. In the process I got lazy and fell off the ladder. Hurt my ego and ripped the flat screen off the wall in the process. Tv actually survived more or less but I ripped the ends off the HDMI cables. I need to go outside to the shop and do something more dangerous before I get hurt.

True Bob but the Dually is my daily driver. :eek

Scaling it is solid advice. It's the only way to really know. Also if your truck is level unloaded you'll always be looking at the sky loaded. I put the 2 inch rake back in both of mine.  Either that or some airbags

14020100 or 15020100 are the Flowmaster part numbers. Either 4 or 5 inch.

They also have it in stainless

5 inch is fine.  It's actually 4 inches from the DP to about mid cab and transitions to 5. I have a 4 inch on the Dually and 5 inch on the LB7. I don't like they way any of them bolt together so I always take mine to a muffler shop to have additional hangers installed and weld the joints except for two so I can take it apart if needed.

Chrome should go. I have an 01LB7 and a build thread. Might see some ideas there.

I'd add a lift pump for extra filtration if nothing else.

I'm with you on EGR block. Never know when EPA may strike.

5 inch flo pro is the way to go. I run Flowmaster hushpower mufflers in both by trucks. Great sound but not loud.

I bought sound deadening and rolled it on all the doors. Made a big difference in the interior noise level.

Also look for some XTC foam speaker baffles in Amazon. Cheap and help the mid base in your door speakers.

Build Threads / Re: Equipment Trailer Build
« on: April 14, 2017, 07:25:33 AM »
Probably a little late now, but if I were building another trailer I would include a torque tube down the middle.  Otherwise they can be a bit flappy.

I'm ramp neutral but I don't care for dovetails on anything shorter than 30 feet.

With those cankles, HRC needs a crane, not ramps

So Ken on my Kubota, adding a shim the relief valve is the method.  I assure you that if you search for a forum you'll find it and along with it detailed infomation on how to do it.

Yeah, I didnt say I paid that.  that was what they were asking.  Its all about the lottery system and being able to get it.  Basic scarcity of resources , supply and demand economics.  People what what is scarce and there is not much of it so there are people that will pay that for it.

Construction and heavy equipment / Re: John Deere 2720

Ken I think he was talking about the engine injectors and power.  There are ways to shim the pressure relief on the hydraulic pumps to get more pressure to the cylinders.

Hint: I think that's a ruse. Over 100k rpm rotation would make video nearly impossible and short range wireless would not work past about 90 feet for video upload.

I bought the little HF mixer.  Not a bad little rig for less than $200 when mixing smaller batches.  Just don't put it on uneven ground and let it tip over backwards with 3 bags of concrete and water in it..  Makes lifting it up off the ground a bit of a challenge....don't ask me how I know.

About $25 a draw versus $50 for the pappys. This place has the biggest selection of spirits in south Texas. Very impressive

I can only describe it as a bourbon with very little to no vanilla. A hint of rye/wheat. Just my style .

targets are about 75 yards on a rack.  two 6 inch round gongs and two 3 inch gongs.  She rings the 6 consistently.  She was having trouble with the 3s and I noticed she was slapping the trigger pretty bad.  Reinforced slow steady squeeze and gave her a single round.  She banged out 3 in a row.

Then at 100 there is a steel popper.  She hit that with no problem.  Proud of her.  Only about the 4th or 5th time she's shot and shes shooting subsonic 22lr with a 4x scope and a can.

Much better than when I was caught slapping the trigger......I had to carry the pimp cup and do pushups....
