Kinda cool when things work out you didn't plan deliberately:

Been wanting an electric tongue jack for the Travel Trailer and happened to be on sale at RV store  I stopped at the other day. So I bring it home and set it aside waiting to put it in at a later time. Brought my travel trailer home to work on it before trip to Kentucky.  And lo and behold as I'm leveling it in the driveway and have it unhooked from the trailer I go to crank it up the last couple turns and all of a sudden the damn thing collapses! :o

So luckily I had leveled it ahead of time had an additional set of jackstands underneath the frame  and had chocked the tires!   So luckily no one was injured and trailer did not end up in the middle of the street!  Installed the new electric tongue jack and oh my goodness-I cannot believe I didn't do this sooner!  All those years of cranking it up and down by hand with those crappy gears it never seem to work right-wonder why that collapsed?

I guess this means I'm getting old? Because I enjoy the ability to take my trailer on and off my ball hitch with just the tip of my finger for effort-LOL

Those electric jacks are where it's at... makes it really easy to take the load off your weight distribution bars when hooking up, and unhooking. up down up down up down. Little toggle switch makes quick work of that ;)

Yes, I think they make one that runs on two AA batteries.....

However, the cost to purchase one is the donations of your testicles! ;D

If you install an electric jack on that you should sell the bikes.

Have to agree, love electric tongue jacks.

Some electric jacks come with a remote. :-)

I went to visit a Hong Kong tailor in town today that a friend has been using.   Seems to be a good deal compared to what I have been paying.

Talked pellet smokers with Nate for a while and hope to get one for Father's Day.

Ordered an All American pressure canner model 921. 7 quarts or 17 pints. Garden is starting to really produce and I want to be able to take advantage of it.

Sitting now waiting on my daughters dance recital to start.

Thanks.  I like that it doesnt have a rubber gasket.  I plan on using it on my outdoor 3 burner cooktop.

Stayed up late getting stencils ready for my sons scout trip to Lassen, basically got no sleep but that is how it goes. Wifey at work until 1400.

Scout graduation at 9am, I was in charge of making shirts for using the stencils but everyone made their own.

Youngest graduated to Webelos, there was a BBQ, and we made shirts. Last ones out at 1145, we go to my daughters volleyball game at 1200.

1200-1300 and they win. Youngest (who has an ear infection) plays basketball from 1430-1530 which they win. Then another from 1630-1730, they loose.

I go home and crash until 2000 and unload the truck. (35gal of water jugs, chairs, shade, cooler and such)

Zach is right in the center.

Built a glass rack inside a cabinet of the Travel Trailer to more efficiently use the space and keep them in place and unbroken (hopefully) going down the road.  Used some salvaged cedar fence, last of my square dive furniture screw, glue, clamps and last piece went on with drywall screws!

Friday, shot my first combat pistol competition. Was not using my glock...got very proficient at stoppage drills. :-\
Had a bad mag that would produce 1-3 stoppages per fill...
Needless to say I didn't do well, but had one heck of a pile of fun.

Spent yesterday doing the service rifle competition, didn't shoot my best but was on top at the end of the day in our class. So, Ottawa here I come again. The service rifle shoot was out team selection competition. We had 36 people trying out for 12 spots, lots of new shooters, lots learned, and boy do I hate heat. Was close to 100 yesterday and full sun all day. No fun at all for rundowns, especially 500 meter ones.

Thanks.  I like that it doesnt have a rubber gasket.  I plan on using it on my outdoor 3 burner cooktop.

I do know that there are some gas type burners that are not recommended for use with canners, because they produce too much heat and can cause damage to the pot.....?

Swapped couple broken sprinkler heads & adjusted them, added hardware cloth to raised garden to keep Fido out. Bent up 4 hoops from rebar to keep trampoline in place for kids. Added tanks to wr450 (finished it at least), grilled chicken & had corn on Cobb with some cold pasta salad wife made. Girls left & I upgraded slide release & trigger to wife's G43. Now fixing fire to make s'mores for kids later.

The wife ordered my smoker for fathers day today!  Going to be cooking ribs soon!

Got a REC TEC with a cover and SS front shelf.  Now to start fiddling with rubs and methodology.  Gonna start a thread for advice soon.

Got the invite from my pops and stepmother to come down and play golf at the country club in Everett. 95 deg around 2:00pm when we made the turn at hole 9. My calfs and forearms were sweating. shot a respectable 102 considering I've not golfed for about 3 years and my brother in law who plays 2x per week w/ over $2k in clubs invested shot a 105 ??? outdrove everyone on a couple holes, but those were usually the ones I would triple bogey after reaching the green in two. I guess I need some short game work.

They day before, we had my 3 sisters and all my nieces over for some backyard antics, a little playing out in the bay and some fire pit time. I made Chinese for dinner. bought the eggrolls and bbq pork, but made hot & sour soup, orange chicken, chow mein and fried rice from scratch. no pic of the fried rice as it got demolished by hungry children prior to Cyndie's photo op.

Found out the bedliner I have started my bumper with is no longer available.

So picked up a Raptor liner kit, and will proceed with it one time allows.
Any thoughts from those who have used it if I need to strip the over off?
