Looks like a good saw and a good deal Dave. Only variable would be how much is left on the blade - those aren’t cheap.

Got some nice weather so yesterday I did the dreaded spring chicken coop clean out. Woke up at 4am this morning. My back hurt so bad I could hardly move. I've been popping IB profrin all day but still managed to get the garden planted. Most of it anyway. Still have to get the sweet corn in.

No, lol

Honestly, haven’t thought that far ahead. My opinion is there’s a market there though, I will be addressing the GLO product line in stages. Some stuff will no longer be available (once I fire sale some inventory) and more parts will then be added. There will be many conversations between now and where I end up so maybe we should discuss more. I know you were wanting bumpers, but I’m sure there are other weak spots to address as well on that Jeep.

Alright then. I'll be waiting for some news.

Today was an expensive day for sure,

The truck got a new steering box which by the way seems to feel 50%better than the original GM blue top is ok in my book at the point

The traverse decided it wanted to not drive in gears, holding high RPM to shift when not fully accelerating, loosing mph while RPM climb 2500-3500 than a rough shift at 4000+. Not consistently of course

My trans guy said to bring it in but suggested I get a new transmission as these are well know to be junk.

I was warned before purchase but made my choice. So I will pay the bill

$2500 shipped transmission from GM out of Texas, installation from Randy’s Transmission in tooele.  Yes he still services local folks to keep up public relations.

Our Acadia did something funny like that last week... I hit the pedal to go and the engine revved but didn’t want to put the power to the ground. Then it finally did. Of course this was on a left hand turn with oncoming side traffic.

How many miles do you have on the Traverse?

Is anyone actually paying for tire rotation and balance these days?  I had been using les shwab for some of the wife’s stuff but they just tried to charge me $120 for my truck.  I laughed and said I would go back to Jacks tire & oil

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I worked there Dave, it was free rotation and tire balance for life if you bought the tires there.

60 for mount and balance is a steel.

Sounds like the 700r4 gm tranny. It loves to go 150k and no more.

It is a rental, and i am not paying anything for it.  I have spoken with the land lord and made him see/understand that this is an investiment/future rental bait.

The power of persuasion, you need to be in sales Nate.....

So I picked up a crate I shipped to myself from Indiana last week. It had 1800# of steel components in it which I unloaded and started sorting today to take inventory. Things are moving along, I tend to believe I’m slower than I used to be although I feel like I’m moving just as fast.  At the end of the night I’m exhausted it seems so sleeping hasn’t been an issue.

Baylee, if she passes her driving test in the am gets her license, not helping me feel any younger.

God help you Sean. The 2 biggest hurdles, when they walk and when they drive!

Grandma just gave her 2001 Camry to me for the oldest, who is 15.5 now. I dread the insurance but the car was the right price with only 159k on it.

We slung trusses today from 2:00 to 8:00pm.   I had to leave for a physics class at 5:30 so the team finished it up.

One of the ugliest set of trusses and roof lines I have ever seen.    It will look fantastic finished but getting it to that point is going to be a long week!!
Pictures tomorrow. Bed time for now

The 2000 xj on her own policy (which is cheaper than being on ours by $100 a month  ) is still $154 per month for plpd.......

Rained overnight to couldn't plant today. I went and checked on the Freightliner. Its going to cost somewhere in the $4,000 range to fix the air conditioner. Everything from the condenser to the evaporation coil needs replaced. The only good part is the compressor and it squeaks. So that is getting replaced too.

I went to a dermatologist who showed me what beginning stages of some nasty foot fungus looks like and told me I needed to change socks and shoes every few months and start wearing 80 spf sun screen

Thank you gentleman. Her first appointment is Monday then hopefully insurance will approve the rest of her treatment be done at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa. They treated her for breast cancer in 2009 and she really likes it there.

Dave, what are the benefits of changing every few months in that situation?

Dave, you should probably change the socks DAILY and it might be a good idea to have two pairs of work boots and rotate them every other day.......your poor wife!  The dog either loves to roll on your feet or heads to the other room when you take those things OFF!

I guess like you said to let the days pair dry out, the other is bacterial that can grow in them. Much like a dirty dish sponge.   So he suggested I purchase some new shoes
Buy some different type of socks some merino socks, wool blend to help pull moisture away

Probably a good idea to put some Sandals in my truck for after the day is over and not wear the same shoe to school in the eve

While I didn’t work yesterday these seemed to fit well, stay warm as it was cold yesterday.   I’ll report later in the week

As for physics you guys seem to understand about as much as I do so far.

Isn't it crazy that something costs .50 to make cost $20 with fancy packaging?

I know what you mean though. Having swelling issues now and wearing a compression sock on the left. My circulation is terrible in my feet.

I commend all of you who can sit through classes and learn stuff then be tested on it & never have to use it again ( which my experience was 90% of college before I left ). Hats off to you Dave for pushing onward!
Living in the remote north hoping Ken doesn’t bring H up here any time soon…..
