Well the Camp fire is out now. I did some searching thinking of High Angle Driveline in Paradise after Shawn mentioned them.

When I was up there a year ago, we ate here, dead center of town. HAD is just NE of this on Clark and the Safeway north of it is burned out, so doubt his shop made it.

I caught a virus a few days ago and just can't shake it. I lay in bed all night shivering and can't sleep. Then today had to keep a towel around to wipe the sweat off. Body hurts so bad I cant hardly move. It feels like worse than the worst hang over I ever had. Doc gave me some pretty good pain killers. They help to get me to sleep but only for a few hours at a time.

Almost sounds like more than a common flu...

Although the Flu has been busy mutating into new and stronger varieties.

Doc gave a flu test. The one where they swab the inside of your nose.  It came back negative.

Shame to hear that Jon. Those nose swabs are aggravating. Lots of clear fluids are your friend and vodka don’t count.

Anyone have a good source for recovery gear? UTV sized stuff. The synthetic rope on my Kawasaki feels pretty brittle.

Starting to look for land again. Probably be Nv, mainly for proximity so I can do things on weekends, less than 3 hours is the target.

Looking in the Garnerville area fo now, 20 acres or more is the target and not just dirt.

Yes, with kids in school for a few more years and the wife working still holds me a little. Close enough to work on or even run up for the day.

My idea is I get that foothold and feel for what I want. If it works out great, if I move on so be it when the time comes. It does not have to be NV in the long run.

Heck, if I park the TH there and call it home, no more Ca income tax!!

Moved more steel from home storage to new shop. Went to dr, never fun and bought an np203 range box 32 spline input plus adapter to a th400. Located a ford np205 from a guy who owes me more than it’s worth and will deliver it in next month or two. On my way to a doubler setup for the next build. I have a cab and chassis being delivered in the spring. Haven’t quite decided on exactly how the overall build focus will go but pretty sure it will be 6.2ls powered with 6l80e and this doubler. Wanting 2005 new ford front with the radius arm grafted in and coil springs and then hoping I can find a Dana 80 rear about same width (because everyone runs a 14 bolt or 11.5 now) that’s why...

I am learning lots about the 6.2, not a bad motor really. Just not treated right by many.

What is this going in?

Bought a new intake for my elky. LS1 style with cable, same year as my 5.3. Need the hood clearance and the truck intake looks like crap.

Also added LED light to the DMax. Same as Dons, so far I really like!

You need a title for a crawler?

It helps, if you plan on driving from trail to trail. But this won’t be a crawler, it will have an optional 2:1 or 4:1 gear driven t-case though. Just because, mainly because it has the wheel base to accommodate. I have a couple ideas / goals for this build neither is really what I would call a crawler.

Nate had to load the pic for me, but this is why you might want a title for a crawler. We had him surrounded by tow rigs and campers and the Stater very politely scooted in behind him. So of course, we documented the event. https://photos.app.goo.gl/fEtbDwEt74A5sNyN8

Wish I had a pic of an event I did back in the 80s.

Moving a yard pig from a Bud plant to Sonoma with a broken throttle cable. I sat in the engine area with the hood wired open (555 cummins) using a vise grip on the throttle while someone else drove and a pickup blocked for us. We went almost 40 miles like that including freeway and hwy from Napa to Sonoma.

This part seems to be the nasty nasty culprit of the area, nothing above it has fluid, everything including itself has fluid. Smells just like EGR shiz and it’s coming from the intercooler so.     Anyone ever change out this boot for something mishimoto or the like?
