Something weird here....the article says she is a US (i.e. Federal) Judge....but she isn't. She is a CT Superior Court Judge.

Backed up by this:

So I am not sure that this has any binding precedent for the law. It is a Federal Law that provides the protection to the gunmaker, not CT law. So maybe she is trying to get it kicked to the Federal Courts by not dismissing it or finding in favor of Remington. I don't know. I would be curious what a federal lawyer would say about this.
