I don't know how to verify all the info listed in that report but it certainly would not surprise me. I think the fears of radiation and the subsequent health issues have been overblown for sure. And not surprisingly that "fear" fits well with govt narratives. A few years ago stories publisted show that one of the biggest "game preserves" is now the fenced off Chernobil  (sp?) Site. Hmmm....

People used to go spas out west for radiation treaments. Granted at lower "amounts" of radiation.

Nothing would surprise me with govt propaganda.

The radiation wasn't at high levels due to the blast being an airburst vs a ground burst.

Without really getting into the how I'd know part

I can assure everyone modern day nuclear weapons are every bit as bad as you may imagine.

Chernobyl was a bad deal and although the wildlife thrives (Due to a lack of pressure from humans) to eat a diet of meat from there would pretty much insure death by thyroid or some other similar cancer.

I don't know about the fraudulent Hiroshima and Nagasaki attacks, but I can say that nuclear bombs do some pretty marvelous stuff. Take a look at either city and you'll see an amazing place. Very modern, vibrant, beautiful. Makes one wish someone would nuke Washington DC. Think about how nice that place would be in a few decades!

It was also a very very low yield weapon.  The weapons now are orders of magnitude more powerful
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
