I’m surprised there aren’t more dead people. Getting close to Hillary I would think means some need to be “reminded”

I’m of the view that they have or are losing their clout. She wasn’t allowed to be president, don’t kid yourself it wasn’t because we voted for trump......

Good Question
« Reply #3 on: September 05, 2018, 07:27:06 PM »
I respectfully disagree Shawn

Despite all the deep state banana republic tactics colluding with russia and the American people rose up and rejected Hillary through the electoral college. Had it been pure democracy(mob rules) NY and CA would control the country and Hilary would be potus

Which is why she had to go for long walks in the woods with Chardonnay and Ken

Aside from Ken’s involvement I’ll agree to disagree.

It’s very much as you stated a banana republic, I just tend to believe it’s much deeper than you do.

I also figured Ken was a red wine guy..... who knew?!?

Interesting rant.  He fails to consider multiple other influences such as the population bulge making its way through the system and exploding technology.  Currently there are 122M people over the age of 45 that is tasking the medicare system and the baby boomers will task the system until the bubble works its way through the system.

He also fails to account for the improvement in medical technology that will reduce the cost of chronic illness.

I'm not saying the system isn't broken, its just not as bad as he makes it seems and there is still a path to saving the system.

Technology and data will have a profound impact on the real problem in the system, which is the hospital systems and physicians who have escaped anti trust scrutiny as they have consolidated and driven prices up by nearly double digit compounding annually.

I've spend 30 years in health care financing and delivery.  Its a very complex problem and we all have a part in fixing it.

So back to the banana republic.....

I like Denninger however he has been ranting about the healthcare issues once a week for the last several years. With my better half being part of the healthcare system some of what he says is a stretch knowing what she deals with daily. I figured you would have a knowledgeable take on it as well & you rarely disappoint.  :likebutton:

BR, definitely and it’s a very deep hole!!!

Can we set up those gallows you keep talking about right outside the senate judiciary committee hearing and start with all those leftists undermining the constitutional process for SCOTUS?
