I think all of this is significant enough to take a good look at. There has been a release of information, essentially radar and aircraft sensor recordings that show the existence of these things. I have no way of knowing if any of this constitutes any sort of a threat, but these things are real.

So from time to time pertinent articles and information will be posted here. One could read through this thread, it is hoped, and be more or less brought up to speed on the current thinking and information.

Filmmaker: Radar Footage Shows UFOs Swarming Navy Ship

By Eric Mack    |   Friday, 28 May 2021 07:55 AM

A filmmaker has released an unclassified Navy video of radar showing a swarm of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) swarming the USS Omaha in July 2019.

Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell tweeted Thursday:

"2019 US Navy warships were swarmed by UFOs; here's the RADAR footage that shows that. Filmed in the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha / July 15th 2019 / this is corroborative electro-optic data demonstrating a significant UFO event series in a warning area off San Diego."
The reveal is the latest in a series of reports of UAPs being spotted by the U.S. Navy, showing quick-moving objects flying at speeds approaching 160 mph, coming from unknown origins, and at times disappearing into the ocean.

"Holy s**t they're going fast," a Navy sailor says on the video. "Oh, it's turning around."

As impressive as the speed and maneuverability were, a USS Omaha crewman was quotes by Corbell marveling at their ability to stay up for over an hour.

"The most impressive evidence we witnessed was their endurance. The event lasted over an hour with all contacts just disappearing. We were never able to discern where they departed to."

Corbell claims 14 UFOs showed up on the Navy radar – "tied into some of the most sophisticated weapon systems known to humankind."

"It supports the hypothesis that these are not just a balloon that is dropping into the water," Corbell wrote. "it's not something that is easily explained. These are true unidentifieds in mass number."

"Some of the unknown targets drop off RADAR in this footage," Corbell added. "This happened numerous times throughout the UFO encounter series. At the height of the contacts – there were at least 14 unknowns observed at one time. The event series reached a crescendo with one of the unknown targets entering the water at 11 p.m. No wreckage found. None of the unidentified craft were recovered."

The video comes just before a government report from the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Defense is set to be delivered to Congress in June, detailing governmental investigations of UAPs.

"Collectively, this data drop represents a small section within a large mosaic of UAP awareness by our DoD," Corbell wrote of his latest video. "It is my hope that these materials will be representative of a unique moment in modern history; a possible turning point toward the rational and transparent approach of investigating and exploring the mystery of the UFO Phenomenon.

"So here is an opportunity for anyone – and everyone – to go ahead and seek out the information for yourselves. We do not know what, if anything, the Navy or Pentagon might be willing to say about the USS Omaha incident (and related UAP encounters), but we are confident the incident is a legitimate mystery – and look forward to whatever information might be forthcoming."

Ex-Sen. Harry Reid Believes Lockheed Martin Had UFO Fragments

By Eric Mack    |   Sunday, 02 May 2021 10:13 AM

Lockheed Martin, a leading U.S. aerial defense contractor, might have had fragments from a crashed unidentified flying object the Pentagon did not permit former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to see.

"I was told for decades that Lockheed had some of these retrieved materials," Reid, 81, who once took credit for securing $22 million annually for the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), told The New Yorker.

"And I tried to get, as I recall, a classified approval by the Pentagon to have me go look at the stuff. They would not approve that. I don't know what all the numbers were, what kind of classification it was, but they would not give that to me."

Lockheed Martin declined The New Yorker's request for comment.

Unidentified flying objects are no longer mere sci-fi conspiracy theories, as unidentified aerial phenomena reports are being prepared by the Pentagon and U.S. intelligence.

Luis Elizondo once led the AATIP, including investigating the mysterious Nimitz encounter that found oval objects resembling a large Tic Tac moving in ways that defied modern aeronautics.

Elizondo considered UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) a severe national security risk and has been speaking out before a government report on UFOs is due to be released in June.

"Mr. Elizondo has spent his career working tirelessly in the shadows on sensitive national-security matters, including investigating UAPs as the head of AATIP," Reid wrote in a recent statement, the New York Post reported. "He performed these duties admirably."

Filmmaker: Navy Video of Pyramid-Shaped UFOs Best World Has Seen

Thursday, 15 April 2021 08:11 PM

A video showing 3 pyramid-shaped UFOs said to be hovering over the USS Russell in July 2019 off the coast of San Diego is authentic, according to the Pentagon, as are other recently leaked images of sightings by U.S. Navy personnel, Fox News reports.

"I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel," Department of Defense spokesperson Susan Gough told Fox News. "The UAPTF (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force) has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations."

The news comes as the government is set to release its first-ever report on UFOs this summer.

The 18-second video is the first seen by the public of the incident. The UFOs, which were described as unmanned aerial vehicles were reported to have harassed at least 3 warships during military exercises over several days, Fox News reported.

Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, maker of the documentary video and still images "Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers," and George Knapp, chief investigative reporter for KLAS-TV received the leaked video and still images, and independently confirmed they are an unclassified part of classified briefings to the U.S. Intelligence Community on UFOs in restricted airspace.

"This is explosive information," Corbell told Fox News. "This is probably the best UFO military filmed footage certainly that I’ve ever seen, but I think also that the world has ever seen."

One UFO in the 18-second video matched the speed and bearing of one of the ships for 90 minutes while performing "brazen" maneuvers, according to the report.

Months before that incident, an FA-18 pilot allegedly took photos on his cellphone of 3 UFOs off the coast of Oceana, 2 of which have been nicknamed the "Metalic Blimp" and "The Sphere."

They were able to remain stationary in high winds, unlike balloons or drones, according to Mysterywire.com.

Corbell also received 3 leaked photos from another event, said to be from the USS Omaha, that show a "spherical" UFO descending into the ocean without being destroyed. Corbell told Fox, a submarine searched for the vehicle, but did not find it.

"This is an extraordinary piece of technology," Corbell said. "Whoever is operating these technologies are far more advanced than anything we have in the U.S. arsenal and that should be a warning sign. We need to find out the intent of the operators of these vehicles."

"These craft are not pushing something out the back to go forward," Corbell said. "They are gravitationally propelled craft that are transmedium — that can go from space to air to sea without destruction."

The Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) is currently investigating the aircrafts to determine what they are.

The government's UFO report, ordered as part of the 2020 appropriations bill signed by President Donald Trump, is set to be released in June.

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told Fox News it will show "frankly, there are lot more sightings than have been made public" and showing "things that we are observing that are difficult to explain."

Ex-CIA Chief Thinks UFOs Could Exist After Friend's Plane 'Paused at 40,000 Feet'

By Theodore Bunker    |   Tuesday, 06 April 2021 02:52 PM

Former CIA Director James Woolsey believes UFOs could exist after a plane belonging to a friend of his was "paused at 40,000 feet," which he said he could not explain, he revealed during a recent interview.

"There have been over the years now events of one kind of another, usually involving some kind of aircraft-like airframe," Woolsey told the YouTube channel for the Black Vault, an online archive of declassified government documents.

"I never thought there was anything to all this; it always seemed pretty far out to me," he continued. "But there was one case in which a friend of mine was able to have his aircraft stop at 40,000 feet or so and not continue operating as a normal aircraft."

He did not identify this person, but did note that it was someone he "respects."

Woolsey said, "What was going on? I don’t know. Does anybody know? There had just been enough things like that that have occurred that I think there will be a lot of examination of what’s going on over the course of several months or years."

He added: "I’m not as skeptical as I was a few years ago, to put it mildly, but something is going on that is surprising to a series of intelligent aircraft, experienced pilots."

Woolsey isn’t the only former head of the CIA to express a belief in the possibility that UFOs exist. Former director John Brennan told the podcast "Conversations with Tyler" in December that it’s "presumptuous and arrogant" to think that Earth is the only planet in the universe with life.

"I think some of the phenomena we’re going to be seeing continues to be unexplained and might, in fact, be some type of phenomenon that is the result of something that we don’t yet understand and that could involve some type of activity that some might say constitutes a different form of life."

He added that the Navy videos that appear to show "unidentified aerial phenomena" are "quite eyebrow-raising," noting that "you try to ensure that you have as much data as possible in terms of visuals and also different types of maybe technical collection of sensors that you have at the time."

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told Fox News last month that "there are a lot more sightings than have been made public," and said, "some of those have been declassified."

Ratcliffe added, "and when we talk about sightings, we are talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain."

The Pentagon said in a statement last year that "The Department of Defense has authorized the release of three unclassified Navy videos, one taken in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015, which have been circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017. The U.S. Navy previously acknowledged that these videos circulating in the public domain were indeed Navy videos.

After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena. DOD is releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos. The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as ‘unidentified.’"

FBI Aware Commercial Pilot Reported UFO Flying Over Plane

By Solange Reyner    |   Thursday, 25 February 2021 06:38 PM

The FBI is "aware" an American Airlines pilot reported seeing something unusual fly overhead at a high rate of speed, reports ABC Journal.

The audio was recorded on a flight from Cincinnati to Phoenix on Feb. 21 when the plane was flying over the northwest corner of New Mexico.

"Do you have any targets up here?" the pilot asked air traffic control in a radio transmission captured by Steve Douglass, a news photographer for Fox 23 in Texas.

"We just had something go right over the top of us," the pilot said. "I hate to say this, but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing – moving really fast right over the top of us."

American Airlines officials confirmed the audio was recorded but directed media outlets to the FBI.

"The FBI is aware of the reported incident," the agency replied to a Journal inquiry. "While our policy is to neither confirm nor deny investigations, the FBI works continuously with our federal, state, local and tribal partners to share intelligence and protect the public."

The Pentagon's UFO unit is set to make some records public in the coming months as part of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021.

Researcher: Pentagon Admits Testing Wreckage From UFOs

By Sandy Fitzgerald    |   Saturday, 13 February 2021 08:38 PM

The Pentagon, according to information gleaned through materials secured through a Freedom of Information Act request to the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, has admitted to testing wreckage from UFO crashes, and a researcher who obtained the materials is theorizing the debris may be from the Roswell, New Mexico crash in 1947.

"Although much of the reports' details are redacted, what can be gleaned is that these technologies represent a literal quantum leap beyond the properties of all existing material known to man," the researcher, Anthony Bragalia, wrote in his blog, UFO Explorations, reports The Daily Mail.

Bragalia said he secured more than 150 pages from the DIA after the agency responded to a request he submitted three years ago.

"The original 2017 FOIA request made to the DIA asks for the physical descriptions, properties, and composition of UFO/UAP material held by the government and its contractor," he said, adding that the documents refer to "UFO/UAP material and physical debris recovered by personnel of the Department of Defense as residue, flotsam, shot-off material or crashed UAPs or unidentified flying objects."

He attached the request and parts of the five documents he was given access to, showing that testing was being carried out by Bigelow Aerospace, a Las Vegas, Nevada-based company that performs private contract jobs for the Department of Defense.

The pages repeatedly mention "advanced technology reports" surrounding Nitinol, which is described as a shape recovery alloy. Bragalia Nitinol had similar properties to "memory metal" found near the Roswell site.

The pages also show that the Pentagon was exploring whether the metal could be used for health purposes, Bragalia wrote.

He also noted that more than 40 witnesses to the Roswell crash said a metal-like material recovered could "remember itself" when it was altered physically.

"Based on the documentation received, it appears that the retrieved debris exhibits other extraordinary capabilities," said Bragalia. "In addition to "remembering" their original form when bent or crushed, some of these futuristic materials have the potential to make things invisible, 'compress' electromagnetic energy, and even slow down the speed of light."

Bragalia said the whereabouts of the UFO wreckage is not known, and that Bigelow Aerospace laid off nearly all of its 85 employees in March 2020.

The Pentagon has admitted to possessing and testing out wreckage from UFO crashes, with the researcher who found the startling news hypothesizing that the debris may be from the famous Roswell, New Mexico, crash in 1947.

Researcher Anthony Bragalia made the revelation on his blog UFO Explorations, sharing that he secured more than 150 pages from the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) after the agency responded to a three-year Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request he submitted.

'Although much of the reports' details are redacted, what can be gleaned is that these technologies represent a literal quantum leap beyond the properties of all existing material known to man,' Bragalia wrote in his blog.

Bragalia's FOIA request was 'unambiguous in its meaning,' according to the researcher who prided himself in finding the loophole for information that is normally confidential and secret.

'The original 2017 FOIA request made to the DIA asks for the physical descriptions, properties and composition of UFO/UAP material held by the government and its contractor,' he said, before adding that it 'refers to UFO/UAP material and 'physical debris recovered by personnel of the Department of Defense as residue, flotsam, shot-off material or crashed UAPs or unidentified flying objects.'

Bragalia attached the FOIA request and parts of the five documents he was given access to, which comprise the entire 154pgs he had. The researcher did share that there were several documents that had to be heavily redacted.

The document show that the testing was being carried out by Bigelow Aerospace, a Las Vegas, Nevada-based company that does private contract work for the Department of Defense.

Scientists Investigating Puerto Rico UFO Incident

By Zoe Papadakis    |   Thursday, 22 April 2021 12:08 PM

Scientists are trying to explain a series of events involving an unidentified flying object caught in and around the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, airport in April 2013.

A team of analysts working with the Scientific Coalition for UAP — which focuses on unidentifed aerial phenomena — have been pouring over a review of thermal, visual, and sensor data that shows the flying object hurtling through the sky then skimming through the water before splitting into two.

There have been various theories created to explain the phenomenon. Some speculate that it was a Chinese lantern while others say it was a Mylar balloon but in a recent interview with Mystery Wire, Rich Hoffman, one of the co-founders of SCU, says none of these ideas could be proven. The team at SCU have been working to find an explanation, testing these theories, but have come up empty-handed.

"Well, what flies like this, what splits into two, which has this color temperature, or this temperature range that we’re talking about?" he said. "Obviously, we looked at it and there’s one bit in the beginning of it, it looks like a tumbling bloom, but you don’t know. And that’s how we look at it in the visual range. And the thermal range, it could be completely different. That could be the temperature changing around."

Hoffman added that they then looked to see if there was any indication of a propulsion system because "the wind speeds at the altitude that this thing was at was everywhere from 15 to 18 miles an hour heading from the north, east, to the southwest. And this object was moving around into the wind."

Hoffman said they could not see any propulsion, which led them to the next theory - could it be a balloon? And if so, how would that show up in thermal? So they reached out to a FLIR technician who used a Wescam camera to take pictures of a balloon but the thermal did not match.

"And by the way, have you ever heard of a balloon splitting? Well, you know, you get where I’m going, right?" Hoffman added. "So we then said, well, could it be a bird? You know, well, let’s go look. We have pictures of birds in thermal as well done, you know. So you keep going down the list of all the things that could potentially be. And one thing is that you know, how many things split into two identical pieces?"

The report comes after images and videos of UFO sightings by U.S. Navy personnel were leaked. Among them is a video showing three pyramid-shaped UFOs said to be hovering over the USS Russell in July 2019 off the coast of San Diego is authentic, Fox News reported.

"I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel," Department of Defense spokesperson Susan Gough told the outlet. "The UAPTF (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force) has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations."

The Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) is currently investigating the aircrafts to determine what they are.

So with all those hours in a whirlybird what have you viewed personally?

My Dads theory was always that it was & has been our government. Currently a big space push is on, one way to get the public opinion about spending tax dollars on it headed in the direction they want.

I recall as a kid, 12 maybe? That would have been circa 1989 of seeing this extremely large black pyramid shaped object above some low flying clouds over NE Indiana one day. All I knew was it was large, black and pyramid shape which seemed odd and very out of place. At the time the B2 was not known about. Thinking back maybe it was a B2 I saw?

Well,

Not just whirlybirds...I have a lot of time in go-fast stuff I flew at the flight levels.

I've been a place or two

In Nevada

I can say I have seen and touched things I have no explanation for. I am no engineer and am not qualified in any way, just a laymen.

I wondered if there were things of Extraterrestrial origin/nature, or perhaps US Air Force stuff derived from something super advanced that we got our hands on in the past somewhere.

Then, I hear all the same stuff everyone else does.

I do believe we are not alone and these flying objects are other advanced non-earth creatures.

and this probably means absolutely nothing,

But when I flew jets, one winter night I think when coming back into Cincinnati, Approach was vectoring everyone way out on a 25 mile final. One crew asked approach on the radio why they had final out so far. Approach answered, "We have a UFO sitting right where we would normally turn you inbound.

Now I fine it interesting to note that the point where ATC turns us inbound to land to the south from an easterly arrival, is right overhead of a decommissioned nuclear materials processing site where some nasty stuff used to be handled.

Probably just a coincidence...

UFO Filmmaker Corbell to Newsmax: Pentagon Will Reveal 'Uncomfortable Truths'
(Dreamstime)
By Sandy Fitzgerald    |   Wednesday, 16 June 2021 10:18 AM

UFO filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, after releasing a video clip showing radar footage of unidentified flying objects swarming near a Navy ship off the coast of San Diego, tells Newsmax that an upcoming Pentagon investigation report will reveal that more "exotic explanations" must be examined about UFOs.

"The important thing coming out in the report, and they've already said there was a leak in the New York Times, they're going to remove the option of it being some secret U.S. government projects," Corbell told Newsmax's Rob Schmitt. "It leaves us with some uncomfortable truths that these are not ours. Soon we're going to know it's not Russian, it's not Chinese, it's not any foreign nation that is technologically developed as we know it."

In late May, Corbell posted a 46-second video clip on Twitter saying it was taken from the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019, and showed a "significant UFO event series."

Corbell, the editor of "Extraordinary Beliefs," told Schmitt that the Pentagon's report, which is expected by the end of June, is coming at a "historic time" because the government has "told you UFOs are real."

"They fly with impunity through our airspace," he said. "They outmaneuver, outperform our greatest warships and warcraft. The big question is who's operating these unidentified flying objects and what is their intent?"

Corbell said the video clip from the USS Omaha shows the "first time in modern history" where there was radar contact with UFOs

"I was able to obtain and release provide to the American public radar footage of ufos swarming our Navy warships, but I didn't just release radar data," he said. "This correlates with the other videos that released from the same incident in 2019, such as this video ... you see this thing go into the water now. No tail, no wings, no control surfaces. No modern propulsion as we know it. This is a spherical UFO that descends into the water without destruction."

Corbell also discussed the first clip he released, along with his "mentor in journalism George Knapp," from the USS Russell, showing it being "swarmed from pyramid-shaped UFOs" that were going along with the warship.

"All of these events were happening at the same time," said Corbell. "We're talking upwards of 50 to 100 unidentified contacts that were again swarming our Navy warships with impunity. this is something about ufo's is that they can traverse our most restricted airspace unimpeded. They can just go wherever they want...this is something that we need to look into from a national defense standpoint."

Corbell added that the "hard questions" must be asked about who is operating the flying objects.

"We need to start asking the hard questions and eradicating the stigma associated with these because they're right in front of your eyes," he said.
