I'm looking at one of these locally, just trying to figure out what I'd use it for. It would be great for farm duty me thinks.http://surplusmilitarydepot.com/m1061a1-military-10k-flatbed-trailer-extream-duty/
Bob, no but Don does. What would I haul it with? ... probably have something that would work.(Those are purpose built to go behind a 5 ton)Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Don, when did you camo up the trailer and what was wrong with water tank on there?Paint did come out nice.
Will one of those big square ones fit in there or just a few 55 drums?
I like the paint. Ready made tank is a time saver too and 15gpm, sweet!Have you thought about a cover for that trailer? Keep all that stuff out of direct weather. Looking at mine I was thinking about running a piece of metal along the rail, then add small posts to that. Bend some conduit into "U" shapes and your are done. Works great on my little trailer, but I mounted the posts right to it with bolts.
I just replaced the fuel pump on my toyhauler with that same style of pump, I became a pro at disassembly and "thinning/shaving" of the plastic pump gears after the fuel would cause them to swell and seize the pump solid. motor would sound like it was locked up and I got no flow, lots on the web about this issue. I even considered having a machine shop turn some custom billet gears to replace until I saw how much they wanted .... I don't know how else you would keep this from happening...
