So something happened in bible study this past Sunday

We were finishing up Ephesians, Chapter 6

That's the really important part that talks about the armor of God

I was reading through the words when all of a sudden one word stood out and stuck hard in my mind. I do a security job there as well, and later on during the actual service, I just couldn't get the concept of standing tough out of my mind. Heck that's what this site is all about. Standing together, standing up for God, standing up for what's right, standing up for our wives, and children, standing with fellow brothers when they are in the fire

We Real men, Stand!

Well, all this came to me and I was writing it all down. Some I researched later, but the idea occurred to me that this ought to be a movement for men of real courage and a boldness for Jesus to stand.

What do you think? Is this something we should move on? I think the timing is perfect and the message is solid rock in a sea of shifting sand...

So here it is:

1 Corinthians 16:3 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Exodus 14:13

7.   Usually implies the power to sustain without flinching or breaking
8.   Implies continuing firm or resolute through trials and difficulties
9.   Emphasizes even more strongly the ability to bear without flinching

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

These are excellent points, and counterpoint to the heathen Islam religion where they lie and deceive to achieve their goals.

Where they engage in taqiyya, a method of dissimulation whereby they pretend to be what they are not in order to avoid persecution or harm, OR to infiltrate Christian society and destroy it from within...

We Christians are called to glorify God in all things, even in our last dying efforts, proclaiming our faith to the end... no matter what may come.

Rev 9:6...And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

So true!

I have observed a lack of courage amongst the men of some of the churches I have attended

I find that troubling and problematic

Seems it always falls to just a few to stand up and march toward the gunfire.

Evil exists and grows because some potentially good man who witnessed it did nothing to stop it.
