Yeah, just think about it, if they(Republican and Democrat) were really concerned about the people, they could have just taken that 2.2T and divided it up among everyone.  That would be about 6200 per person if there are 350,000,000 people. But then if you still want to cut back on minors, say 1000 per each of the roughly 100,000,000 minors, that would leave all adults (250,000,000 of them) getting about $8400 each. That would cause more economic stimulus than anything the Kennedy center or the endowments for arts and humanity ever could.
