It's a Honda thing I guess

But think about it

Pilots like all those sticks, pedals and switches.

Add to that a gearshift and clutch pedal and Honda has a brilliant marketing tool right there!

Until the pilot confuses the left rudder pedal for the clutch on take-off. Although, that would be a spectacular sight for bystanders (assuming they're not too close)! LOL

Reminds me of my Embraer 120 training. In the Sim of course, we had to master a single engine failure on takeoff. First one, the instructor cut power to the left engine and I remained on the runway for about a quarter of a second. Another quarter of a second and the runway was no longer in view. A short time later I went through some building on the airport at maybe 100 knots.

Yea, don't mess with the pedals unless you need to!
