You know, two good days owning a boat. The day you buy it & the day you sell it......
I was about to say the same. Tate, you should be able to rebuild that motor for under a grand. You may even have a contact or two,,,,,,,,,,

No, I think he will sink it long before he breaks it. Still that time of year and he's in a hurry.
Does it use DEF? That was a plus of the 75, right?
I just saw the $$$, sure not what you paid but you can get a new Dmax for that with lots of change!

A heavy gun will not kick as hard. I have an original Mac 10 in 45acp (closed bolt) and it hardly kicks at all being it goes at around 8lbs.
Maybe just slide a nice gell pad on that 45-70 when you shoot.

Sounds like a good plan. More room is always better.
Heck, I thought you would make the door really secure like using a big bar across both doors like the did in castles.

Think Quigley shot a little longer round, a 45-110. Remember that powder was not what is today.
He commented in the movie referring to the 45-70, "this one shoots a tad further"

I was looking at that too as $800 is the going used price now. Also it has been upgraded to the Mavic Ultra for $1100. Basically better props (quieter) and programing for better flight times, around 20+ minutes.
Yes they know where it is when flying, it is real time and uses your phone for the pics besides the HD recording. I t can also be set to lock onto movement and follow it at a set distance/alt and return home. Object avoidence such, but not infalible by any means.
For what it does you can get the Phantom for 1/2 the price, just doesn't fold up. The phantom is white one and the aspire has folding gear. Next step is the pro stuff that normally have 6 rotors.

Wish I had more to report, weekends are busy. When the kids are home I get a couple hours after they go to sleep is about it. Wife looks to be going back to her day shift and is happy. Couple weeks out but hope to be close to done by then.
Lost power to a line in the laundry room, have to figure that out but rewire options pretty easy.
Got the trim for the windows cut out. Need to prime-paint and install.

I fight this all the time at our schools. They actually teach the basics of many religions but I never see them teach about Christian's. Thankfully my kids go to church regularly.
I blame much of the above on the media, both social and so called news. Everything is wonderful everywhere but here, but they all still come here.
Take so called global warming, now climate change. Cities are trying to sue oil companies for it, but thank god it keeps getting thrown out. I have a cousin on the wifes side who is going to Cal Poly, studying biology and we stated talking about "climate change". She brought up all the scientists agree bull and I said, who's? Then went over how much land we actually occupy on the earth and how would that >1% affect the whole planet? It was fun, but I was nice about it.
I still think it comes back to the media of all kinds. Tell them something wrong enough and they will believe it. Also, be sure to not let the real truth out or something that pushes back your ideals (thankyou twitter).

JR, are those Raybestos ? I've read about those before somewhere, being better than moog.
Quick search showed a few unhappy costumers with everything, but said these were rabestos.

I agree Charles. It is way more than the 800k or 3m if you keep the chain migration going and then the stupid lottery for immigration?
If you can't offer something stay out. They come in and go right on welfare and SS.
Next we need to address the 14th amendment about being a US citizen when born here when your parents are illegal.
I really what is in the memo and why Sessions hasn't said a thing yet? Now wouldn't it be cool if it lead to an EX head of the state dept?

Daughter and youngest boy are at a music assembly at the HS.
Dropped off oldest boy for a trip to Lassen for snow camping.
Got the Napa brand on both. Iv'e known the guy at the local napa for 25 years and he said they were better than moog and just a few $$ more.

Looking good JR. Explain what you mean on the power wiring?
Just keeping circuts seperate. Bathroom and AC pump on one, most outlets/lights (led pod) on another and one more for the indoor HVAC head and one 20amp outlet. The last is near the stairway which may be used for a house fan later.

His thumb? That is just normal when working. Well, maybe a tad more.
Picked up new upper ball joints for the Dmax today. Got the better ones vs the moogs that seem to wear out in 2 years or so. Got new therms too. Can't find the others right now and need some heat in the cab.

Used less than 3 bags of the Roxul for the walls. Didn't figure the windows or bench in. Used the safe/sound for the HVAC cover to quiet it down some and I think it is around and R13 alone.
Have to figure the split system power as it will be separate from the room. Out side unit will share power with the bathroom. Inside unit will be another circut with an outlet just above the bench. Lights and plugs another circut.

Well since I have a work table now I finished the wall shims and insulation. Daughter still thinks the room is to small since the closet is built into the room. Women, never can please em. Now she is talking furniture, new bed and desk. Said talk to mom, I built the room

I did that (galv post) on the corner of the fence where I have my TH. Sank it about 4' down, then built a square column around it. Solid as a rock about 200# of cement int there.

I go to both, but prefer Costco.
1 is closing up in Sac so no big deal.
Wally open a super center in Fairfield and Vallejo that only lasted a few years each. They didn't check the areas out before they built, as in low lifes. They built new ones a few miles from each that are great!

A 2x6 sand filled would be a great barrier when they incoming. Any issue with rotting or as long as its weather tight and dry you are good.

To keep it solid you would would have to bury the posts. I just used the above strong ties but doubt they would give you a solid structure.
Now an idea is to sink a round galv pole sticking up a couple ft. Bore the matching posts and slide over the poles. You get a solid mount with matching posts

Nice kitty.
Sure thats not a 4x4? When you see it in the other pic it has a point off the left rear.
So they are there at 0500 and 2200 or are the times wrong? 1/2 before and after sunset/rise?

Had the tires rotated on the LBZ. Had some funny wear on the front, found both upper ball joints are sloppy. Will install a new pair and get it aligned.
Back to work on the room now.

That is good service.
As for headlights, the 2 pack at costco go's on sale for $20 all the time. One of the best ones I have found so far. Yep, AAA batteries but I use rechargeable and always have set charging.

I would mount a 12ga on one side and a ar on the other right above the Kabota. Joystick aiming, just add a fire button.

They make a lighter duty also but this one has twice the impact (6lb vs 3) and the metal gearbox. Plus it has a trigger varible speed vs the dial on the light duty.
With the coupon it cost the same as the all plastic one.
I had to buy the spade bit, drills and standard bits.
Now if there was just an easy way to get the dirt out of the dang hole!

Meant to post this when I finished up on the foundation. For the space I had this in a must.
I picked up a Bauer SDS MAX hammer drill from good ol HF and it has done its job very well.
My only complaint is it come with NO BITS, so add another $80 to the $130 price.
Got the discounts with them so it didn't hurt as bad. Then I found a coupon for the driver saving another $30.

Then I got this little palm sander and it is a beast. I like it better than my AC stuff and you don't drag the cord around. By using the 1.5ah battery it stays light.
Plus I have found a generic battery that is holding its own so far, just $27 on Ebay.
I am hoping for a good flood light, vs the junk flashlight included in the set.

Besides all the standard tools, I picked up a vacuum and this palm sander during all the Christmas sales.
The vacuum is rated better than the Dewalt and I have not been disapointed at all. Hose is a little short is about all I can complain about. It has the smaller hose and only come with one attachment, but that does rugs and vehicles really good. With the 4ah battery I get a good 20-30 minutes from it.

I spouted about the impact a couple times in the Dewalt thread. But I have a couple more additions to the family and they work great.
So far the 1/2 impact has not let me down. Last big use was for a some 3/8x12 lags for the addition. The regular impacts couldn't handle the big one but killed all the other SDS-Timberlocks. Tried it on a few lugs too. No problems on both the burbs 14mm and the 1101 trailer lugs.
I have also fallen for the Senco Fusion trim nailer. Beside being great on trim and cordless just using the 18v battery (charged twice now). I use it to tack things up before screwing and it does great.

I don't miss driving in the snow. A lot of my raising was in Mn. but I still get a little here going to Reno.
Only had the pleasure of 2 white outs. One was driving to Mn form Kali, hit it going out of SLC. Was in my old 77 Sierra. 2nd was from Reno to here, road was closed but they let me through when I showed my 7 point pass.

So who gets to drive it first, you or the PR?
I can you working that thing all to Heck and back. The couple of K's I run for a few days never missed a beat, and I pushed.
Now remember, that cutter does not work on rocks.

Finished the HVAC today, another hurdle. Nice to have it back.
The space heater was doing OK but the bill was killing me. It drew 1300watts and ran all day sometimes. Thats 31,200 watts a day!!
