That’s funny. You guys pick which part. They all made me smile.

Got a line on a box, motor, and trans.
Well a whole truck. I think it’s a 2005 but will work for me.

I need a new box. Mine is toast.
I need to rebuild/reseal my engine.
I like many of us trust no one.
Donor motor for heads etc, or drive it while I do mine.

I know nothing on details.
I’m pretty sure it’s an LLY which makes a few things less useable.
But if I can get it for what I heard he stealer gave on trade I’m likely doing it.
Then the plan will need made.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

So pulled the trigger.
2007. Stock. LBZ. 6 speed.
All the right parts I need.
Heats up some towing (imagine that).
Safetied for commercial use so should be a solid parts donor.

Man, we are doing that. We painted the bedroom, I put down a new Shaw laminate floor and redid all the wood trim. Currently knee deep in painting the great room, dining room, hallways, 19 foot walls everywhere (Read scaffolding) and had to punch out some drywall in kitchen ceiling due to leak from above.

And guess what we found? A tiny 1/2" CPVC supply line with a nail from trim sticking into it. Has been leaking for 12 years! All mold is gone, bleached and kilz...

Yeah mine is exterior and I’m stroking the check this time. Even though I have the airless sprayer I just need to get it done.

As fate would have it this Motor Home fell in my lap this morning. I paid $500 for it. I seen the 454 and the generator and had to have it. Supposedly they had the engine and generator running recently. Whatever that means. Its 77 model year. license plates expired in 2000. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. That box on the back alone is probably worth the 500 bucks right there.

The wife and I are taking off for the weekend alone. I need some planter parts and they are 5 hours away. Rather than ship them I decided to spend hundreds of dollars and go get them. We are taking the truck and camper. Don't know where we are staying tonight. Figure it out when we get where ever we decide to stop.

Worked on a few of those things back in the day. Just loved doing head gaskets, or exhaust manifolds, especially without a driver door for access.

Yellowstone, my new favorite, if they would just leave out some of the social justice. Indians pure and innocent. White man bad. Gets tiring.

It’s usually a sober problem here anymore,

But I agree if they lost the Indian crap I would like it that much more.
Even more ironic is the few Navaho people I do know don’t watch it, but laugh at BLM and cry foul.

Life is forever what you make of it.

Had an interesting interaction with a guy on a classified page,   Selling a cargo trailer he had converted.

I asked if I could come take a look, I specified I was building one and was interested in his build.

What would you have said in his position?

Chest holster like we carry in the militaree?

Goes on the mollee on the chest armor. The crew liked them, but we pilots didn't.

And here's a consideration

When sitting in the cockpit (Helicopter, car, excavator, _____) you can't see down to find things on the center console, or things you dropped on the floor
Second thing, chest holster will limit the amount of aft cyclic you can pull. If you aren't in a helo, the control stack in the middle near your business may have gun induced travel limitations
