No new mount for me, it is $1114 from Kabota. Need to take it off and do some RR and get a better seat with fold up arms.

Think it was hear the ocean and not cared for. All exposed metal is bad as well as some painted. Runs solid though!

Found a generic suspension, swivel mount with chair for under $400, so may go with that. I was looking at getting a better chair anyway with swing up armrests.

Pulled off the old seat and found I need to make adapter plates for the new seat. Just a little Z stock or req tube should work.

Sitting on there with 1 bolt now and had to jump the seat switch, but it sure feels good. Looks like it got a little tweaked in shipping as the back needs to be pushed over the flip up correct.

Added about 5 inches to the thumb which came out great. Unfortunetally they were to long to making it tuff to drag with the bucket and would not fold.

Ended up trimming the last tooth off as it wouldn't fold and stow and it was interfering with dragging the bucket.

Between the trailer, tractors and stuff I really need to keep these divided up better.

Kub is running awesome. It is handling almost anything I can through at it but the bigger rocks.

I really want to add a front aux for using the claw. Couldn't hurt routing the rear too so I can tilt the box blade, but front is a must. Now kits are way up there for what they really are. If anyone understands the hydro setup here is a pic of the distribution that I need to tap into.

Sometimes it’s just as easy to T a front or rear line and add valves to direct flow from front to rear or vice versus. It’s what I did on my MF 90hp tractor when we added auxiliary hydraulics.

I'm sure I can tap into that somehow then just run a valve on the joystick. Have hydo out back with the hoe off, but think the circuit is turned off.

It's this^^^

What Deere does

Sometimes you will see a proprietary design that has a dedicated port, but really, you only need a "T" and a supply and a return line and a solenoid along with a switch.

Agree, that is why I have the picture posted hoping someone can help figure that out.

I need to t off the main, run through a valve for f/r and return. Valve kits are only about $100, add lines and viola!

Here, this should work. My wishlist is LONG!!!!!!!

Here is a closeup of the valve center when I was working on it, thinking the top port is feed that I need to "T" from. It looks like 2 big lines to the rear(backhoe) under it and al the lines on the outside feed the loader.

Just have to figure the return line out?

Doing a little maint on the Kub. Think I need to replace a couple pins on the quick attach. Bucket rocks pretty bad but usable.

Still like to add front hydro. Want to just plug it in but most threads showing moding the hard lines. Sure a way around that but haven't figured it out yet.

I want to get this wainroy quick attach off to. Can't find bucket for it. Looking a the kabota style and you can buy the plates for under $100 and attach to anything.

The 12 inch bucket is OK, but a wider bucket would be nice so often. Plus with my foundation coming up that would be a bonus too.

Looked at flipping the blade on the bucket too. When I try to scrape it never digs but rides over everything.

When I tried to lossen the nuts, all the bolts spun. I can cut the heads off but figure I will tack weld the bolts to the blade.

But if you tack weld the bolts to the blade, you can’t flip the blade without cutting them off. Maybe in misunderstanding, but not sure how it save your anything.

Don’t you have a skid that has teeth? I’m pretty sure it moves twice as fast also.

Yes I do, but they both move about the same. I have used the toothed bucket on the Kub and it does get a little loads better. Then the smooth bucket and the box blade should level it fine.

Right now I need to dig out that corner, then move it all and level the pad. I really need something a little bigger to dig the corner out. Neighbor has not come through yet, both his tractors are down. Using the Kub is like moving a football team with a VW bug, it'll get it done, but not fast!

He is right
Teeth make all the difference. In the CTL world, a smooth edge on the blade is for working mulch/dirt/gravel in piles or for back dragging to level. Tooth leading edges break up stubborn stuff and it's like doubling the power of the machine

Well, as I stated in my raptor thread, I sold the dump for a solid price. I want another flatbed (live and learn).

Now finding one has proved to be real challenge, I mean no one around has em at all. Ordering is 3-6 months out minimum with probably a price hike.

So far I have found a PJ 24' tilt that is 600 miles away near Provo Utah. It has a 2' front deck. I called and it is there. Road trip, 10 hrs out and back. It is also better than $1000 less than anything around here, if they were here. Might even pass a knucklehead or 2 along the way.

So with all of us spread out, maybe you guys have some ideas for me?  I was looking at the Big Tex also, but nothing around here.

Wouldn't be a long trip though Dave but happy to stop by. Plan is leave thursday, pickup trailer Friday. Stay somewhere and drive back Sat.

First one yes, 2nd no, want a deckover tilt full width. Havasu is the same distance, but the trailer is 1k more.

There are 2 local, but almost they want 11k with "taxes". Base prices are 9k.

Thx, bored is good!! This might turn into a meetup with another knucklehead.

Thx for the help guys, just bought this PJ.

I even called Big Tex and they couldn't help me find one, said march is I order now.

Now this is 600 miles from here, but there happens to be someone called Dave who lives right there. He even offered to pick it up and meet me to save me some time and miles.

Now there is a road trip planned, my youngest wants to go.

Yeah, this is just 10k. Would have to be a small dozer. I'll take one too though!!

Big diff between this and the BT is the jack and the ram setup. BT has a scissors setup, single ram. PJ has 2 rams like the maxxd I had, worked fine.

The jack would be nice at the front, I will see if welded or bolted on. The PJ comes with a spare too.

I really like the scissor lift with one larger ram over the two ram system. I guess it doesn’t really matter on a tilt trailer as long as it goes up and down and has an even load.

I like the scissors too. My Maxxd had the twin ram and it worked fine.

That would have been the Big Tex, but none around. Just don't want to wait 4-6 months.

Had some good luck this week finding extra for the toys.

First I sealed the wood on the new trailer. Came out nice but I need more for the bottom. Looked nice when dried this AM, time to muck it up!

I found tracks for DUG on FB Marketplace, $900 for used $2800 McClarens. https://monstertires.com/shop/mclaren-diamond-ott-tracks/

I also got tired of looking for buckets for the Kub BH. The wainroy xls QA is not used enough to have a good choice for a fair price.

So I went to kubota and found the BT4550 QA for my tractor was just $660 new with pins. (needed bucket pins to for front QA too)

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=kubota+bt4550+coupler&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images&iai=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hunttractor.com%2Fimages%2Fproduct%2F15526.jpg

Found 3 buckets almost new and the buy met me 20 mins from the house for the deal. Got an 18, 24 and 32 I thing for the price of one new Kubota or WR bucket! I want to find an 8-12" bucket now for trenching, which seem to be all over with this QA.

Selling the WR bucket with QA should more than offset the new coupler price.
