That fact is not lost on me. They would also drastically reduce wear on steering components and axle shafts as they would be static rather than live. But that wouldn't sell many replacement parts would it?

yeah I still have hubs for those guys and the cost has gone way down. now I can get a warn set of hubs for up to 01 t100-tundra for $211.64 retail! Lack of a space to bolt the spindle to is another issue, requiring a whole steering knuckle to be engineered for the GM conversion. in a nutshell, it CAN be done, but no one would buy it.

Get underneath and watch the steering as the wife, girlfriend, buddy wiggles the steering wheel back and forth to check tie rods, pittman and idler arms. Driving down the road my LB7 tracked straight with no issues, but the whole front end is wasted. I paid $12k for 230k miles on an '03 so price is good for mileage and year of what you're looking at.
Ken?

If the GM wasn't IFS, we would have a live axle system to work with, but at this time the CV axle situation requires extremely expensive custom shafts to work with anything but factory brg/hub assemblies. At some point someone will figure it out, but until then, the factory disconnect will have to do.

For NFL, chromecast and NFL network on Verizon. works pretty good, but delayed. E.G. Bengals Hawk's game, everyone around me was blowing up my phone with that banked field goal but 10 min later I got to see it "live"

Good work Nate. I'm following the wife's lead and just reducing volume more so than cutting things out, but just paying attention to the 3rd and 4th handful of delicious spicy pork rinds... that's tough!
This is what my 5 year old requested for dinner last night. Second pic is far away, but living in the PNW we play when we can, rain or shine.

That tile in the kitchen and bath are exceptionally clean. Nice choices on counter top also. Do you have a pot fill faucet above the stove there?

Had a little fun with Sam's applied physics class. Catapult building time! He took 4th in the room with a ping pong ball launching distance of 7.5m. The uprights were adjustable front to back of the frame and the stop bar adjustable top to bottom of the uprights. The bungee was adjustable as well and we fabbed up a hose clamp and paint can key with nylon chord for a trigger. Cut a little notch in the back of the launching arm with a Dremel and hooked the curved tip of the can key into said notch. we launched chocolate holloween balls much further!

Kia motor company on the door frame sticker and the VIN# matches, not sure if it's relevant, but frustrating none the less. Insurance all but totaled it, $2k in damages. we're taking the check, and the car. he and I will do the repairs, parts yard pieces etc, bumper cover and hood will most likely remain damaged, and he'll get to drive around his senior year with it as is and deal with the "utter humiliation" of driving around in a banged up ride.
I don't understand....my head is about to explode.............
Good plan on the repairs. I would probably make him do the labor, while you sit back with a sweet tea!
For Ken's vindication and closure, we have Daewoo conformation on the door sticker. I may or may not have been clouded with frustration when I first read it. insurance covered the repairs, Sam has a now steady part time job cleaning pools on the weekend which he paid the deductible with and now covers his own insurance vehicle costs.

We've got a pretty exciting build coming up. doing a spin free conversion locking hub kit on a dodge front. shooting Wednesday, and after cutting/editing process probably upload next Tuesday. should be pretty cool with some live action shots in the shop.

I sold the living snot out of Toyos for years before moving to differential parts. worked for a smaller outfit on the west coast Les Schwab. I can vouch for the MT's. treat them well with good rotation schedule and inflation and 50k is a legitimate number. I sipe the center group of lugs but not the outers on HD trucks. all the way on jeeps and lighter vehicles but outer lugs on heavy trucks tend to chunk out. My absolute favorite is the Toyo M55 pinned for studs. last forever, great traction like the old interco buckshots, quieter than most M/T's but cost a fortune.
X2 on the bad shocks. Like the older wild country RVT's, they will scallop badly with poor shocks.

I'm just bitter because the previous owner already removed mine, the Silverado badge on the tailgate, LT badge, but left the trim and the fender badging. I feel like I lost my pants somewhere and the experts say, if you have the dream where you're in your underwear, just imagine everyone else in their underwear and it won't be so awkward.

check your size requirements, but I've got some m6x1 flush mount zerks in TN and KY. I'd be happy to send you some no cost if they'll fit. I don't have the specs on ball joints on their own, just application data, so if you can figure it out, I'll ship 'em.

Sure the zerks weren't the right size and the stub shaft wasn't oversized?

How dare you interrupt his marathon gaming session with questions! He probably got Cheetos on his phone screen from taking the time to text you. I'd be talking with the general contractor about his choices in subs as well. All issues aside, looks like it's progressing pretty darn fast and well all things considered.

Man that's rough. Our friend's daughter has similar issues. Glad to hear they got his figured out and have a good plan of attack. I was in and out of the hospital with asthma attacks since I was 4 until the NW Asthma & Allergy clinic and Dr Furukawa figured out my allergies. Just to show the light at the end of the tunnel, I was on 6-8 different medications every day until I was 17 but now take nothing and my allergies are nearly non existent.

I tell ya what she looks like to me Trouble! She is going to be one of those that you can hardly keep up with Probably want a jeep or a truck instead of a car and she's so darned cute that all the boys will come ah knockin' and drive dad to drinkin'!
Yup
I see lots of sleepless nights ahead for the tater..
Not wishing, just seein' it!
I've already got the nightmares. She likes daddy's diesel a lot more than mommy's turbo Passat. She wants to be a cook or a doctor because she "likes to cut the meat". we'll be fishing soon and hunting soon I'm sure as she already knows you have to kill the chicken and the fish to eat them. That's a beautiful girl. Love the hair. You....well.....ya know.

She had mommy straighten it once. got home and she asked if I liked it. I said, well honey I like it but I like your regular hair better. she said, yeah I think I look funny, can I get my old hair back? Being that we are in full swing of harvest and the wife in the the grain cart our supper menu has been different. We have to get everything ready in the morning before work. One day we just got a jar of canned meat out of the basement. Thats what it there for. Delicious. Then we got the crock pot out and made a roast the next morning. We were too tired to do much clean up that night was a long one. Next day I decided to put pork chops in the crock pot but it was still dirty and we are running late already. Wife pulls out her spare. I knew there was a reason I keep her around. Pork chops with cream of mushroom soup over the top cooked on low for 13 hours. Didn't really even have to chew it. Kinda just fell apart. Tonight is going to be Mc Donalds. Have to go get the kids from my ex for the weekend.
I'm looking forward to getting that set up... I would like to pull from the pantry instead of the fast food sector when necessary. we are crock potting weekends for weekday easy meals starting tonight.

She's all over anything I do. Cooks with me all the time and any time I'm working on the cars she's handing me screw drivers or looking for something to take apart. We make all of our lunches together at night and she has her little Hello Kitty lunch box that she packs up herself. She didn't actually like the apple crisp though, ironically.

Sophie and me makin' apple crisp from the neighbor's tree during half time of the Hawk's/Lions game. We also did some deep fried JalapeƱos with fresh pico de gallo and some salsa bake chicken breast w/ rice. No pics of those, but super easy; 4-6 frozen breasts in a casserole dish, cover with salsa of choice and bake at 375 for 45 min or until juices run clear. Stupid easy and very tasty.

I like the idea of the character studies in the show, gritty brutal truth. take away the zombie aspect and insert any humanizing catastrophic event here. Gets you a pretty good idea of the collapse of society and what it might look like.

are the hubs in your dodge there? Do you remember how long ago you installed them? There have been some adjustments made to the spacer rings, as Don can attest. usually fords had the issues you're describing because the end of the stub shafts would contact the bezel, so you would be trying to turn the stub and the bezel together. Not easy. They are also a lot more metal, but shouldn't be as difficult as you describe. If you want to PM me your details I can send you a set of the new spacers and see if that helps free up the bezel.
