Looks good Dave....but. I think you're in for a lifetime of trying to make it work, reliably, and safely (heavy). Might be 10 times easier to have one side attached solid. More like a Murphy bed. You'll obviously lose some space, but would sure be more reliable. Not trying to be negative. Just an opinion.

Just an opinion.I would lend to your thoughts if I haven’t seen it work many times before with other folks. Various ideas on how to get it to lift but all the same general idea. I think it’s about 200lbs now plus add the mattress, I might drill some speed holes into the frame to cut back on weight lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
