AGM also keeps the risk of acid spills to almost nothing since it isn’t sloshing around inside the battery. They can be also be installed at odd angles because of that.

No fumes either, can be used and stored around people! I have 3 in my trailer.

So 390w, how many amps? Mine are 100/200 (12v/6v)

390 watts per cell x6... about 200 amps total?

My two 6v were $50 and the 12v I got new for $160. Long as you go with LED you get a lot of time from 200 amps.

Just for fun, 746 watts is 1 HP, model plane stuff.

So what if I picked up more?   I’m only putting two in my trailer. The other two are for another trailer just to run lights.

The guy has 120 available

I plan on building a battery box inbetween the axles in the floor

I also want to buy this I think to charge them

Good place for it, but the more batteries, the more connection loss. And if you have a bad one, it can really make the system do wonky things.

Looks like a nice little inverter, should run about anything reasonable.

What your link goes to is just inverter, no charging you need to look at something like this to charge the batteries and supply 120v when not plugged in.

Pardon.   I have had some input about sine inverters and pure sine inverters

So looking at this and thumbing reviews

Renogy 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Battery Converter, ETL Listed with Built-in 5V/2.1A USB port, and AC Hardwire Port Solar Power Inverter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9SXV61/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_299GWR3SVVSJ0P5DQ5ZV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And then this to charge and maintain battery charging ?

WFCO WF8955PECB Black 55 Amps Power Center Converter Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BC59S6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5Y80HSQ4F6ZB1CG4V102

Sine wave is better for your electronics, pure wave vs modified. Lots of info out there on it.

55 amps charger just converts 110 for 12v use, doubt you need 55amps though and not sure if it charges your batteries.

Are you doing solar at all? Neither is a solar controller.

I initially was going to copy what Don did in his trailer,  the first 2000 inverter I posted is what he installed, the other black charger is I think also what he installed

That WFCO will charge the battery's but they're not known to be the best on the battery life. Something like Progressive Dynamics has really good units, better charge profiles, also look to the future for Lithium Battery's the price keeps coming down and you need less batteries for the same capacity.

Thats were I'm going, lithium.

Almost full discharge, more capacity and way longer life. Price reflects that but for the life of the battery its about the same as AG/wet.

Hit my old friends stereo shop yesterday for some 4guage wire to make my battery cables out of.   I didn’t however order enough lugs and my ego didn’t let me snatch any from his bin.

But I got three batteries tied together

Got the bed frame back from powder coat.   Metallic grey color since I got it all done for $100 because they had some other stuff going the same color.

Ok fellas

Successful bed, it rode about 400 miles yesterday with zero hiccups.

Today I cut plywood to fit the frame and now to put the mattress on.

I have about 32” before the mattress goes on in the middle position. With 4’ on the bottom, enough for bikes to be loaded and the bed down to sleep on, no sitting up in bed for sure. But doable

Then I can lower it again one more time to the bottom position that leaves about two feet off the floor. I envision sliding our moto gear bags under the bed out of the way kinda idea.

Now to put the king size mattress on the bed

No AC in the plan as of yet.

I’ll have a flush toilet, a 3x4 shower, fridge from a Rv, and two burner gas stove, a wash sink and a diesel heater

I would like to install an ac at some point. Above the fridge would be the best location but.... I haven’t got there yet

Bueno. It won’t take much to cool that space. Even a portable unit you can take with you when you need it would work.

In my opinion, These boxes we call RV’s only have so much room for insulation. They also are heat magnets that take lots of air conditioning to keep cool in warmer temperatures. Lots of areas I have been in, people leave the ac running while they are out and about to be able to get in out of the heat when they get back to the home on wheels.

I figure if it’s that hot I don’t want to be out, the cold I can deal with.

My trailer is insulated really well, I’ll have my floor spray foamed three inches, long down the road but one day

Plus that sheet foam is SO much better that soft bat stuff.

If you find shade it helps a lot for AC. My 3000 unit cools my 23ft just fine.
