Yeah, some cro-magnon alien in another world will see that thing land and start worshiping it......

Could be a mocie.....The Aliens Must Be Crazy maybe?

Really really awesome. I love this for so many reasons....obviously the kicking butt with new tech etc, but also it just shows what motivated ppl can do and prove that the govt is not the "be all and end all" for a lot. I loved what NASA accomplished but every day you guys are taking some of the shine off that rose. Hopefully some other Americans are paying attention. Very cool! Love it!!

Official Video is up.

Its been an interesting road, its about to get even more exciting, I promise unless things go way off the rails the world will be a much smaller place in 20yrs.

Even with all of this I'm glad I still know how to grow/hunt food, build things with my hands and protect friends and family if I have to!

Video of the launch was amazing. Put it on the kitchen table while the kids were having a snack and let them watch. They were all pumped. They kept asking if it was real.

So, as far as i can search, I can't determine whether or not the third booster made the successful barge landing? Anyone know?

Third booster did not make it, hit the water at about 300mph. Video to come soon.  This is where your glad it did not hit the target (Drone Ship)

I watched the recording too.  I found it very impressive.  Human engineering at it still very young prime.  Although the bad comes with the good.  We may one day be too smart for our own good.  I digress.  Imagine that car just hanging out in space top down cruising. HAHA

Watched it again and I think the thing that is most impressive is the booster landings.  Its got to be easier to send it up than it is to bring it back.  Keeping those things stable at low velocity is impressive.

Any footage of the center booster making what would have to be one heck of a splash?

Muy interesante.

I would have thought 32psi would have blown them up in the vacuum of space.

its relative, the internal pressure increases 14.7psi from sea level.  usally the air will permeate thru the rubber and over time decrease to nothing.

Now what can cause real issue is the thermal cycle the material/tires will see that could in theory do something if certain conditions are present.

The next time the Telsa will be in the vicinity of Earth looks to be 2073, and after that, not until 2260, if you try real hard Don, Square D will be under this own power! on the return trip.

A few, not a lot. The big thing is I invest a lot of time on getting people that show potential the tools and education we need them to have and then  move them into Engineering if they desire that route.

taxi.  We've gotten so good at space travel we can use terms like taxi.  I have vague memories of the Apollo missions, and they were anything but routine......

Too cool.

Taxi is pretty correct, in some of the corner cases you could be in the capsule for days.

Just remember what you see here is already obsolete, when BFR comes on line the day of land launched rockets will come to an end and word travel will be done in minutes not hours like now!
