That one wasn't the nicest one I have seen. The nicest, that beautiful blue one in Seattle went for 19K

Another pristine one around 100K in Maryland fetched something near that, but less

This is a 17-18K truck by my reckoning. But if he can get it, then more power to him!

yea. it looks. nice and straight. he already started dynamat in it.. which leads me to believe that the floors have been gone through and all is well. i don't really nneeeeddd any of it.. but it sure would be nice to go ahead and bag a rolling 1 ton crew cab short bed chevy frame and body for the future build..

not counting my chickens just yet.. i'm waiting to see what he's thinking. whether it's realistic or outrageous. and.. i may just get the rolling chassis and body. don't really have time to work on the engine and such yet. but they are easier to find than a good body and frame. (been tossing the idea around for a common rail 5.9/48re combo from an 03-05..) but they're just details.. i judd need the BONES!! hahah

At $4500 or less the sum total of the parts *assuming they are good* is worth that.

The Nv4500/205 if 29 spline and it should, be is worth $1500 minimal
The Bare block/head off that Cummins is worth $800 if rebuildable
Pump and lines aren't free either.

The Axles...$1500 all day around most parts of the country...

If Rust free the cab is worth a grand...box $500 all day.

I'd offer him $3k for it all

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

im currently trying to fiure that out. trying to get some details on the rest of it. at least it's from a truck where sheetmetal can be easily found, and the rear doors are easier than day a crew can dodge, to find. he's only a couple hours from me, and will hopefully be too tied up over the holidays to move it. may ride out and take a look in a week or so..
