Thanks Ken. It just fits in the TH, just.

I am torn for sure but have to many projects to even think of this. Wish I had done this at the beginning of summer.

If it is the rear seal it is on them. You really can't hurt those unless you try.

You put on the intake with the motor out, should be a no brainer, but we all make mistakes.

If you can verify the rear main and 505 doesn't step up fast, let paypal do its thing. That will get their attention.

This is posted on CL and on Pirate, but you all deserve a spot too!

1986 Suzuki Samurai soft top. Project I started but have moved on to larger vehicles. It is non-oped so no back fees. It needs a good cleaning but has been tarped so the top is in good shape. Body is in good shape, no rust cept the window frame, but I have another for it!

As it sits it is not running, but was when I parked it. Has a rod knock, but it ran/shifted good.

I have a 1.6ltr Tracker FI motor for it with all the major adapters and parts to put it in. The motor ran good when I pulled it. I have the stock ECM and harness too as well as a 1.6ltr toyota carb for it if you have no smog.

I have also started to put the same tracker seats into it and it has the 2nd row seat.

Has new tires (little bigger than stock) on stock wheels and a spare stock.

It is lifted 3 inches with springs in the front and shackles in rear (but I have 3 lift springs for it)

Steering box locked up, but I have another for it.

Extras;

extra front and rear axles (rear has a locker)

Stock and lift leaf springs

extra drive shafts

2 extra transfer cases with a 6.5 gear rebuild kit uninstalled. (one is solid, one in pieces)

Pair of extra doors without window frames. (stock windows-doors work fine)

For asking price I will include a Warn 4500 winch with synthetic cable (want to keep it light!)

Sure I have missed something as there are boxes of parts for it, but you get the idea.

Obviously, it will need to leave on a trailer. More pictures on request.

Located in the Bay area, near Sac.

How it looked when running;

Little dirty in back;

Extra axles, shafts and Tcase;

EFI 1.6 motor (8v TBI);

Asking $2500 which is way less than all the parts plus the sami.

Pm for more info or pics

THX!!

Retention for me is a firm pull for removal. I don't want a hood or snap.

I carry the shield 40 most of the time and like the OWB as in your first post since I always wear loose clothing.

Always wondered why GM went to alum on the shaft. As heavy as these are sure can't be for the 20lb weight savings!

Funny how its balanced with those weights gone, but glad it is. Now what, tires?

Read a bunch of his stuff. Lots of info on youtube for setups. The 9.5 and the 11.5 are setup the same.

If there is a video how too, Tate will know.

Yep, Don is correct. If keeping the same gears you need to do 2 things though.

Set bearing preload (new bearings) and check pattern. Both are easy to adjust as the 11.5 AAM has nuts for adjusting the carrier.

However I would do the pinion bearings too since you have it apart. You might be OK there but the nut is a bare and you set the preload.

Went and did some logging with the tuner and his laptop on my pickup truck.  Seems to be as he called it surging.    Not anything else visible in the file to suggest why.  So I will start at the fass fuel pump and see what pressure that is giving the cp3. Then might look at replacement of the cp3

Thats the trouble with these things. So many sensors and this works off of that. CPS won't be cheap but good to get the issue fixed.

Yep, EFILive. I don't tune either but having issues with new firmware. I adjust some settings and always loaded through the flashscan.

I can only program using the old "tun" not the "CTZ" it all converts to now. Been reading my but off, but have not got the flashscan to program alone.

Right now I have a 100/230 tune running, but it is touchy at low throttle. It gets great mileage though. I have a DSP5 by IdahoRob, but running his 100hp never felt this solid or got the mileage.

I talked to Dave a little tonight and will probably call Rob this next week.

To bad I just saw this. Did you have em check the Tcase for the rub. Would have been a great time for it laying on the bench.

Was that PSI pulling a hill? I cruise at around 4-5 and only see that when really on it.

Ouch, 5k for the rebuild, glad I haven't hurt the tranny yet. However having issues with EFI but got a 100/235 tune in there now.
