How old a truck you looking for? You put lots of miles on your trucks and the older dodge trannys did not have the finest rep.

9857
Close enough. I doubt real targets will be stopping at your set ranges.

Now you just need moving targets!

9858
Looks good and I see there is plenty of red grease to get on all the clean parts.

I gave up my Class A-B CDL when I retired. So many restrictions now, homeland security and such. Wish I kept a non-commercial.

That bow is simple for the little trailer. Got a HF tarp and $20 in metal today. No rain tomorrow so I can build!

I have something in the works for the 1101 trailer also with leftover stuff from a trampoline.

Any more updates on the money pit Bobby?

You are dead on with the bars. Have the 5.9 with tranny and other parts in a old LUV bed trailer.

Cheap too being just 3/4 conduit. So about $30 invested there with the bender. Need a tarp then some angle for the bed rails. Weld a few pins on and done.

Yep, meant Tate. Got a buddy down the street named Nate.

So far it works great. Angle head gets in there tight. Sinks nails really good. Have only charged the battery once and it still shows full after a month of storage and use.

Got the facia cut, routed and sanded.

Glued and nailed with my new Fusion trim nailer. 15g angle trim nails, 1.25-2.5in no fuel cartridge. Uses a lithium battery compressing a cell.

My nittos wore funny. Maybe just me.

Discount/Americas Tires has priced match online prices for me.

Bigger lugs should drive better on the road.

9872
My stock adjusters seem to hold up fine.

Tires, that is the going price here too. I wait for sales if I can. Last time I got my 35's (tires and wheels) with promotions I got them for 1200, then sold my old set for 500.

Nice sign, like my bigger hammer or follow directions signs.

I didn't measure the slope it is guesstimate but it looks about a foot for the run. I didn't finish the math (2/12) but it would be .6 if my slop is that much.

9882
I am about as aero as you are, maybe a little lower.

Light trail bikes are nice, loved my old KTM.

9883
Nice install, the extra fluids will come in handy. How much was a larger tank compared to those?

Sean, how aerodynamic are you sitting in front of it?

Maybe like this;

                              CUMMINS
                          TURBO DIESEL

If they had just slopped it form the original spot to over the vent, then turned vs that big S setup it would have been fine.

I am guessing at the 12in, but better more than none. Think I am just under double though. 20ft (240in) / 12in = 20. So I have just under 1/4 per foot.

DDS thanks for the info. Think I am good at 12in drop in 20 ft.

It wasn't all that bad being lit up well and having the tyvek suit on. Did find 1 rotted out rat (used to have a problem with em, now have cats)

General Maintenance, How to/DIY projects / Re: LBZ dash lights
« on: October 20, 2016, 11:06:18 AM »
Been trying to find a picture of the plug to verify I have the correct wires. Only takes about 5 min to pull it all.

I am thinking it is a break in the wire from the BCM to the dash and that would fit with just loosing all dash lights at once and the flicker.

9893
Alaska or Texas, Otherwise hunker down and hold on for hopefully only 4 years.

What will be left though if she gets 3 judges?

I pulled it again, red has 9.4 volts? Used both column and blk for ground, same.

Many pins had 12v, some 7.4. Checked most of the fuses again, then even pulled the pins on the behind the cluster. Did the black wire, blk/wht, red, orange and a another red? both sets on either end of the plug, black always on the outside, next red, then one side had a skipped plug and another wire.

Still gets me that all the lights flashed (series?) and now the 4x4 indicator and dash lights are out. All other dash lights works and dim, even the 4x4.

Guess it is the dash lights. To bad I don't have another cluster to check first.

Well, I got many calls for parts, some good but not enough to break it up and deal with selling all the parts.

Settled on $1800, but I kept the winch and sold 1 driveshaft for $100. So figure I'm in the low $2k range now.

Guy sent me a nice deposit and will pickup early Nov, which is about how long it will take to find everything and get it out of the yard!
