I can't get a hole dug to save my butt!
Tried to get Duane down there since spring to get it dug...he struck out. Then actually had a hoe on property and asked him. He had to leave for another job and I haven't seen hide nor hair of him since. Asked a concrete guy to punch a hole, put a 36" pipe in it and top it with a nice concrete pad. He must have fallen into a parallel universe cause I haven't heard from him either.
Now, I can't hand dig it because of all the big rocks. I don't own a back hoe or excavator (yet) so I can't do it. No one wants to work for money. I was thinking of waiting for lightening to strike and burn a hole...
Duane won't loan you his Kubota BX25? is he afraid of your normal carnage? ::)
I think we have a winner right here

i will be starting an 8 week CDL course
So you landed a job with that outfit then?
Nope, i figured why not take advantage of a $15K course for free while i am waiting for something to develope. Besides, this company has lifetime job placement.
So a CDL course is 15K now? Does that include a passing grade on the test even if you need to redo part of it? While at the County Road Dept. we did all the training, provided the truck and trailer and a driver to deliver the truck to the test area. If I remember correctly we even paid for the endorsement as the job required it. The renewals were on the drivers not us. Darn man do you really want to rattle around in a tractor or dump truck at your age? Too many other things to do than be a driver with all the bull to have to wade through.
this is the full blown course. this will give me class A/B/C with doubles, triples, tankers, hazmat, bus, dump truck, cement mixer, fork lift, airbrakes, passenger, etc. upon graduation, where ever I end up at, I will still have to take whatever companies class so they can satisfy their insurance needs. I am not saying that I really want to be bouncing around in a tractor across country or whatever, I am just trying to add a little something to the skill set for different employment options. you still got contacts with the county/state?

HELLO BOYS, IM BBBBBBAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
got my ass handed to me the last 4 days out on the Siletz river on the west coast of Oregon, just south of Lincoln city, trying to do some king salmon fishing. it rained the ENTIRE time, the fish were basically non-existent, and only one fish was caught (a small little silver) that jumped off the hook right as the net was being maneuvered towards it. so all in all many beverages were drank, good stories were told and 0 fish were harmed (not for lack of trying) during the process!

yeah, standing in one spot and poking holes in paper really prepares one for an actual conflict
I was listening to a cop at the range teaching pistol shooting.
Man, I couldn't keep up with all the stuff he said that was wrong
I was thinking if folks followed his advice in a shoot, they'd get shot four times before they even realized it.
I told him later in private, but he was stuck on his "Technique"
I told him that told me all I needed to know
That in a fight I'd be on my own!
he'll probably follow you now and try to stop you every chance he gets just to harass you, because you told him that he was wrong.......

wrong designation tate!
that gun itself is called a MK-19, the MK-47 comes from all of the other stuff attached to the weapon to include the mount that the weapon itself is attached to.
the MK-19 is a bit overkill as well. if you have a well placed 1 or 2 rounds from a M79 (Vietnam era 40mm grenade launcher), M203 (desert storm era 40mm grenade launcher attached to the bottom of an M16/M4), or the M-320 (the new era 40mm grenade launcher which is detachable from the M4......;D ) would be the most effective when taking the kill radius into account.................. ;D

Nah, claymore wont do any good in a situation like that! A 40mm (m203 or m320) would be munition of choice.
But the again a .50 would be fun to stop the squiters.......
Wait, did i just go overboard........?

Yeah, the oil change is a reference to square d. It really did start as just a fluid change, so don could do a straight axle swap on his duramax, but that changed faster than lightining strikes.......;D

it may be different from place to place. I know when my landlord refinanced the house that I was renting, somebody from their bank came and took all kinds of pics inside and out.........??

« on: August 30, 2016, 05:36:07 PM »
Got the house appraised yesterday afternoon. In a week or so I should find out what all the time and work I've put in the last year is worth. Praying it comes back where the wife and I think it should.
Time to relax a little this week and enjoy some time with my daughter. My wife gave birth to our little girl last week. Both her and my wife were doing great so I took them home from the hospital a day early last week. Both my wife and I actually felt that it was going to be a boy (we didn't find out) but God decided to bless us with a little girl instead.
If it is worth more don't that raise your taxes? I know a couple people that kinda keep the place looking shabby on the outside but it's really nice inside. Once a year the county assessors come around and take pictures of everyone place. I'm a personal friend of one of the ladys that work in the office. Seems like taxes go up no matter what.
but when you do a refinance or whatever thru the bank, they come and take pictures of everything inside and out.
