The sad thing about this is that all vets send their labs to the same place in that area.  I wish they had setups like real hospitals where they can test on the spot.

Son in law back to work and healing up very well.
Also got some bad news. My wife aunt has stage 3 kidney failure. She refuses to have dialysis. She also has Parkinson's and a few other health problems. Shes a stubborn old hippy so we are respecting her wishes.

I’ve wondered how I would handle that,    At my current age and health I think I would fight but much over 60-70 I’d probably do the same.  Buy some crazy things. Start putting random gifts in hiding spots and maybe start a after death treasure hunt. But the stress from the chemo and the dialysis is not so sure

Prayers of comfort and peace which we all know the good Lord can help us with for any occasion

Sorry to hear Jon.
That has to be tough, but staying the course of her wishes likely is the easiest for all.

It appears my employment is on the line for a mistake that hasn’t been made yet,  long story short miss bid project that no contract has been signed, customer could walk and we loose the potential profit or we take the job and loose half the profit.

Either way it’s been a long three days and it honestly feels like that the end is coming here

I’m ok either way but I’d ask for some peace and calming today to pull the emotion out,    No door gets closed with out another opening

With much deliberation, thought, Iv decided it will be simpler to not fight against the ego of the employer.  I plan on tender my resignation tomorrow and offer two weeks which is sure he will not accept.  The high road I do not think can be attained and in the end via a conversation with Don.  I’m not sure I need to worry about what his feelings on it are.  It’s mine to control and while listening or trying to talk though our issues I think it will only be a short term solution which we will be back in the same spot in months.

The growth has been achieved on my part.  Iv made good friends and I feel I have earned the wages I have been paid.    Sadly he feel different and I can not change that.

Players for calm collected conversation and I’ll follow up tomorrow with how it goes

Plan on moving back to the old government type military tec based companies where thought and discovery is appreciated

Ya Dave, I know you got a message of peace and moral highground when we talked. Just give it all to Jesus and keep him at the center of this and you will be fine.

Psalm 91 ►

You Are My Refuge and My Fortress

1He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.a

2I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress,

my God, in whom I trust.”

3Surely He will deliver you

from the snare of the fowler,

and from the deadly plague.

4He will cover you with His feathers;

under His wings you will find refuge;

His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.

5You will not fear the terror of the night,

nor the arrow that flies by day,

6nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

nor the calamity that destroys at noon.

7Though a thousand may fall at your side,

and ten thousand at your right hand,

no harm will come near you.

8You will only see it with your eyes

and witness the punishment of the wicked.

9Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—

my refuge, the Most High—

10no evil will befall you,

no plague will approach your tent.

11For He will command His angels concerning you

to guard you in all your ways.

12They will lift you up in their hands,

so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.b

13You will tread on the lion and cobra;

you will trample the young lion and serpent.

14“Because he loves Me, I will deliver him;

because he knows My name, I will protect him.

15When he calls out to Me,

I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble.

I will deliver him and honor him.

16With long life I will satisfy him

and show him My salvation.”

Well thank you all,

The meeting went ok.   No anger, calm collected and I didn’t leave anything open ended to give pause for him to second guess.

Short of it.   He asked me to finish my two weeks, I will and will preform the best of my abilities
The doors for the next phase are already opening

Guys, Please lift up my brother.  He is in the Vanderbilt hospital with Covid.  It is not going well.  He has been on a vent since 23 Dec and he is going downhill.  Low blood pressure and 24/7 dialysis.  Possible Stroke.  Doctors and medical staff have been doing all they can.  It is, just like always, in Gods hands.

Just got the daily call from the Dr.  He had an improvement in his O2 level and they were able to reduce the vent support from 100% to 65.  They are hitting him with a battery of antibiotics due to infection and pneumonia.  Blood pressure is very low and on 3 meds to boost it.  Continued dialysis.  Attempting to remove some sedation to allow neurological exam to determine if he had a stroke.  Thanking God for small improvement.  Please keep lifting him up.

And of course with the dem-panic she has to go the chemo alone...
