using your Kroger fuel points again?
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

They give ya a point for every dollar you spend. Spend $500 over a month, then take $.50 off each gallon at the pump. Lots of folks shop on my Kroger card, so I usually score $.70- $1.00 off each gallon

Heck, I am happy with under $2 right now.

Bad thing is it is not going down anymore, kinda stopped at $1.90.

Have you guys noticed when they calculate inflation they don't include fuel prices as that would really jack it up. BUT, when fuel prices are down as in now, they use it to say there is no inflation while everything else goes nuts!

Have you ever had trouble with their fuel?  I always fuel up at the local mini truck stop close to my house since they are very high volume.  Maybe I'm paranoid for nothing?

TRN, when I lived in Indiana I always used their fuel. Never an issue, in fact knock on wood the only fuel issue I have ever had is since moving here North of Denver. I chased a bad tank my wife picked up at so no name place for a week before I decided it was a fuel issue......

Are you using the commercial pumps or the regular non-commercial pumps?

Commercial.  Open the 60 gal RDS tank kid and toss in 60 gallons. Never let the main take get below 3/4

I tried to scam Giant Eagle up here last week, they limit us to 30 gallons :(

I had 2.90 in fuel perks and diesel is around 2.10 here so I was going to push the system as far as I could.  I needed to fill up both tanks in the Ford, and i was going to start filling up the 100 gal tank in the bed.  I prepaid with cash to make sure i didn't get cut off for some weird credit card limit deal and went to work.  Then when it shut off at 30 gallons I realized the jig was up.  That didn't even completely fill both tanks haha.  I figured there would be a cut off somewhere and I found it.  At least I got 30 gallons for free.  and still have .70 in perks leftover.

Yes it was.   I have to keep my wife from using the points to fill up her puny gas tank in the jeep.  She doesn't see that we are better off using them for the higher priced fuel in my trucks and larger quantities they take.  .70 savings on 10 gallons isn't enough for me to use them.  I treat the points like gold haha
