Ever heard of SANY?

They are a Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer who want to be China's Caterpillar corporation

I recently looked at buying a SANY excavator and found them to be top-tier.

Anyway, they filed two concepts with the Chinese patent office for an electric pickup truck to enter the market worldwide.

What do you think?

I like the concept art. Only question is scale. Are those 35" to 37" tires, or 20" mini tires. That'll be the difference between a bad@$$ truck, and some little POS that looks like a child's toy.

Dunno...Knowing the Chinese, maybe half of them would be OK, the rest would fall apart. As for size, I'd think the world calls for something Tacoma/Hi-Lux size

Think JerryRig did a test on the hummer, really liked it.

I watched a Sany Exc build, was impressed. What I didn't like is you were "connnected" to them at all times.

Saw a Rivian SUV last week, was still small. Jerryrig has a truck and like it.

Think is still come down to range and cost. No reason you can't have a off grid charge station, that would be a bonus. While you camp or fish, let it charge.

On the concept, don't like the "mono" body, separate bed!
