Update:

And just like that she passed two stones. Literally within hour of me posting this. The one stone was larger than 4mm, it broke apart and pieces they still believe are in there. Waiting on urologist to see if she can bypass having procedure.

That is a very good ending to a bad situation. Large, or even small stones, can really be a painful experience.

So the final update: Surgeon did not think those passed were the stones on original ct scan and due to inflammation etc decided to do the scope anyhow. He found no further stones and she’s in recovery doing well. Appreciate you guys

Good morning gents-

Would appreciate your prayers on the topic of selling our house - went on the market last week Weds. and we're selling to move to an area with better schools for our daughter who starts High School in August.  Lutheran school for Jr. High, which have been outstanding.  Current house is in a less than stellar High School district with issues we aren't willing to make her suffer through - great kid who is ready well grounded faith wise and ready to experience a quality public school experience - faith into the world as well.  We won't be looking for a new place until we sell here, so the clock is ticking - we've been praying on it; just wanting a wider base of prayers.  Thanks!

Hey guys, my better half was admitted to her hospital yesterday. We had a long 24 hours day before with two er visits and then finally admitting her yesterday afternoon. She has a 4mm kidney stone that is causing some issues as she tries to pass it. As of 1pm mst today she will be going under general anesthetic and having it removed according to her urologist. That is unless she successfully passes it first. If you could keep in your prayers it would be appreciated. I’ve been told it is every bit as painful as child birth and from her anger and doubling over in pain I am not doubting it in the least. Thanks

you know my back story on these. Hang in there, that's a passable size for most, but yeah, big time pain.

i'll eventually learn to read ahead before posting. Good to hear Shawn. amazing how much relief that brings.

He is...

And

I have another one

The biker guy

Had a conversation with him. He asked me not to say "God Bless you" to him. HE showed me the rest of his arm, basically a dedication monument to a future life in hell while serving Satan for the "breathing times."

But I can't say why, but I like him. I don't subscribe to all that nonsense even a tiny bit, but rather stand as that voice in the wilderness. I told him that it doesn't matter what he thinks about God, Christians or anything else, only that God loves him. And I mentioned that I think I was supposed to tell him. I have talked to him enough now that I can see good in him, I mean I think he was hurt by something a long time ago, and being a lifelong member of a tough group of people, the iron horsemen, he hasn't seen nor heard much of Christ. Not sure, but I think so.

Anyway, come heck or high water, I think I will continue to witness to him, sort of leave a calling card. SHould he ever need someone or want to talk about eternity or want to know how to find Christ Jesus, I will be there.

So prayers for this man of 70 years age to come under conviction, and for someone to be there when his heart is right and ready. I just don't want to give him to Satan although I really have no say in it...

Thanks Matt, but I take no credit in this.

Pray for me to be sensitive to his spirit and have wisdom to say the right thing at the right time. If God is setting an appointment here, then I'd ask that he aquits me for the task at hand

Thank you.

I am continually had a bother in my mind about a good man I met at my last employer, this man is a good family man with good values, a great attitude and a portion of comedy that I like,  I have asked him to join the group here with us before, no success, I extended an offer again this Am and forwarded him Dons opening post.   Praying today he joins our group

I am lifting up a guy I overheard at work asking someone else about a bible study. I was able to witness to him a couple minutes later and hope to be able to follow up with him tomorrow.  He went to another site for a couple days.

Men,

I have a Prayer request that I need to ask for. My son Doug just processed and left  for a deployment to United Arab Emirates, which of the all the places in that area of the world it is safe. But with the loss of our step-son over in Afghanistan the wife and I are just on edge and could use a big helping of the Lord's peace and a hedge of protection around our son.

Thanks

Steve

Praying for him, Steve. I will say that UAE is a pretty choice assignment. I'm in Kuwait for the next few months, let me know if there's anything I can help with.

Update on the son: They are stuck in New Jersey with a broken airplane. With spending 24 years in aircraft maintenance it isn't a big deal but it makes the wife nerves. Scheduled to take off tomorrow morning

Good Evening Gents-

Blessings and new wrinkles in the home sale/purchase saga.  Buyers of our place are being difficult to say the least.  I could certainly use prayers from all of you that a reasonable resolution is reached and both properties make it to closing.  I’m in So. Missouri and have been working my tail off keeping all the moving parts heading forward, but I sure need God’s hand to remove some road blocks.

God is at work in our lives and he’s shown our interconnectedness during my time down here.  Woman I’ve never met before (preachers wife) was sitting behind me last Sunday here in Missouri and echoed the EXACT reaction that I had to the SAME young girl with Leukemia from a few towns over.  I learned about this child 3 weeks ago from a friend in Ohio via Facebook through a prayer request and was moved to tears asking for her healing - a child I don’t know, but was sorrowfully moved to pray for and been on my heart this whole time.  I can’t explain the sensation I felt when it was raised again in a church I’d never been in before.

Our prayers are powerful - thank you for yours in advance.

My Wife had another foot surgery for a couple torn and ruptured tendons.  Everything going well with recovery for almost a week and then she starts feeling bad and gets checked out and has a blood clot that has both of us very concerned.  She is thinking every little thing is a symptom that it is moving and scared that it is going to her lungs.  Please pray for her to have some of God's peace and comfort in the fact that he has got this.  She knows it but prayer helps.  Thanks folks.

Tomorrow (Monday 9/9/19) will be 8 years that we have lost our Hero in Afghanistan. With the other son being in Al Udied has kind of put the family on edge a little more this year. Please lift a prayer for peace for my family.

Thanks
